I recommend using Nascar Legends 2 (Nascar 88)
It's far more superior and no other mods.

every time i pick classic stock car 1 it kicks me out of the game does someone know why its happen?

It even affects the first legends mod too. I have to have the 2021 names mod checked, so at least racers are there. If that is unchecked, I get the movie stars there too. LMAO I miss racing Ernie. LMAO

But it will likely cause ussue using it online.
If you pause 88 mod at anytime you'll see the actual correct driver, that's what I do with Ai names off

You can remove the Ai names, I don't plan on updating 88 mod as ita done, so your edit won't be undone.

Nascar 88 is far more superior though, read the "SO WHATS DIFFERENT FORM LEGENDS MOD?" in the description.

I got a screenshot of the names. They are all celebrities? Don't really care to race against Mel Gibson, etc. LOL

I can try disabling the Legends mods and enabling the 88 mod, to see if that works.

I'm not entirely sure, I haven't done anything to it for a while.
Nascar Legends 2 (official 88 season) is now available.
Though we can't tie driver's to correct cars the cars themselves are named as the correct driver's, with the Ai driver's being stars from the 80s.

Does anyone know what happened to the Nascar names from the 50s-early 2000s? I'm talking Ernie Irvan. Dale Sr. Tiny Lund, Benny Parsons, etc. They seem to be gone.

Also we will be able to colour our own nascar skin and wheels, also the better v8 engine sounds will be returning, plus many other fixed and improvements, it will be based souly on 1988, where the cars suited the car used in real life, but the main feature will be its never before seen dynamic Ai, no more uniform racing, it’s anyone’s guess which Ai wins on any race, it’s so much fun even to watch the Ai.

I’m currently working on a revamped sequel to this, I’m very excited and can’t wait to use it myself.
It will be a lot better, needs no fixer patch and has new better than ever dynamic Ai, which sees cars overtaking each other 3-4 wide all race long, the Ai are also A class and can race without spinning on any track, all skins have also been re visited to make them true to their year and cleaner.
Be done in a couple of days :)

This and user patch, make sure the patch addon is beneath this mod in your mod list order.

every time i try using the race engine for some reason it reverts to the base game version with less power, while the AI i'm racing against have the modded engine. I'm using the patch below this mod and the only other mods i have enabled are the very track packs. any help would be greatly appreciated

The fixer patch is what makes it work as the original mod become outdated and i could not update it from my PC, place it beneath this mod in your mod list for the mod to work as normal.

It was from when i had PC troubles, a fellow modder updated it as i couldn't from my end, but only i have the rights to update the original mod, so his fixes could not be merged with the original mod, the fixer patch has to run along side the original mod instead.

Even though the problem is now sorted and i am back, there is too many changes and fixes in the fixer patch to even think about merging it into one simple mod again, loads of tricky work would be needed.

I am loving this mod and all the others. I just have one issue. I'm seeing duplicate names and I can't figure out if I have any other mods with driver names in them, that are enabled or what. Are there duplicate names in this one? I've had three Cale's racing me. LMAO

Starting in pit road is an online nascar feature, Turn that off

Online version should not have any maps, they are in the very track pack 1 and 2

i turned off the online version and the maps werent there

k i did it went on talladega and y do cars start from pit road and also y is it shifting not automatic even though setting is on automatic

Ahh i see, nascar online is a solo mod that is currenlty being fixed, just have nascar single player and fixer(addon patch) below it in mod list, disable online version

no just the first nascar online then this one

do you have any other mods active?, other than nascar single player, fixer patch and track mods if you choose.

I’ll have a look later to see if it’s ok and I’ll give you a step by step for you to get it working.
This mod was fixed by test when things broke on my end, so it has a fixer patch that needs to be installed and placed below the mod in your mod list.

Just be sure to only have nascar legends single player active, and the addon patch (linked in description) below it in you mr in game mod list.
To go to in game mod list select misc from your main menu and navigate to mods, you can use the small arrows to move mods up and down, as long as the fixer patch (addon mod) is below the official nascar single player mod it should work fine.
You can also use track mods with it but I wouldn’t recommend having any other car or skin mods active as they can interfere.
Effect mods like pinball are fine as they are also made by me, but first of all just try with only nascar single player and fixer patch placed below to confirm everything is fine.

I don't have the Online mod. I didn't subscribe to that one. I'm only doing single player, at this time, since I'm new to Wreckfest.
