I had a mod I'm not sure if it was this one, but it had an eye symbol next to the book you read next as well as unread books. does anyone know this mod?

Does it affect books added by mods such as Smithing?

I checked the new default names and it's now something like "Carpentry Vol.1". I personally find it a bit bland but it does the job.

I'll keep this mod around and update it if needed (since it's low maintenance).
So, it's as you guys prefer.

@Mecha I think he's referring to the 41.71 renaming the skillbooks by default now, so this mod isn't as necessary anymore.

I myself haven't seen the quality of the names, he's just implying that this mod might not be needed as much anymore.

This version works with ANY build, even the 41_60.
Try a clean intall of the mod and/or game, maybe it will resolve your issue.

Yeah, forgetting to load this mod after re-installing makes me wonder how this isn't in the main game. Vanilla book titles are garbage, lol

Sorry but i never intended this mod to support more than the vanilla books and i didn't start the game for some times so i could be wrong but i don't remember an option to choose your mods loading order, without it, it would be impossible to make one to affect another..

Any chance mod support would be added IE for snake's mods for ammo reloading/hunting and for the strength/fitness passive books? :eye::eye:

Agreed with Grishord. I recently started fresh with no mods and came looking for this mod to clean up the mess the book titles were in without it. Using the latest build 41.

Tim Shady, I'm fairly certain you're wrong, because the labels ONLY show up when I have this mod enabled, are you sure you don't just have it installed still and forgot to disable it?

Game now has this built in and is redundant - thank you for the fun ride.

So, the mod works fine, but it removes the indicators for "organized" books that you've already read. For example, First Aid For Dummies 1 won't register me reading it, even after I just read it.

However, books adding in from other mods display the "You've already read this" text, because they are unaffected.

I just wanted to say thank you for this mod. It's a quality of life mod that saves me so much time looking through shelves of books.

Since PZ devs scrapped the old way they managed that part of the code for the last version of the game i had to rework the whole mod on my scarce free time to make it compatible with new and old version. For me each version of the mod is supposed to be final but i'm still updating it asap to deal with problems when they occurs. And since one of the russian files had an encoding problem i'll have to update it again... but in a few days... not enough time at the moment.

Can you just get a final version of it than updating it time and time again its making us force RESTART our server because of it - and some of our players are getting character wiped
