thanks, it made for some pretty interesting games (that I never finished), because of the lack of luxury resources no one could expand much so everyone was always very far apart...
But no this was my one and only map :p

It's not that bad aside from the resource placement.Think perhaps the geography of Iceland isn't perfectly suited for use in a Civ 5 style game, but hey I give you credit for the attention to detail. Are you developing any other maps?

I can't believe you've played this map three times, I haven't even played it through once. That's how bad it sucks. I've been waiting for a comment from someone who actually played the map through, because honestly I didn't put much thought into resources and I thought the map was actually pretty unplayable. The resources don't randomize each time, they are hand placed in horrible places.

Is it just me or is there a serious lack of oil on this map? Just curious if that's supposed to be part of it, as I've played through three times now. First time there was a total of about 20 oil, the second time about the same, and so far the third time I have yet to see any oil at all.

Heyrðu, ég var að skoða myndirnar sem þú hefur sett inn á steam og tók þar eftir mynd af Íslandi á einhvers konar earth mappi fyrir civ 5 og var að spá í hvar þú fannst þetta map (því að ÖLL earth map sem ég hef spilað á hafa haft alveg ferlegar útfærslur á Íslandi)

@DirWolf_64 Haha, þetta tók nú bara eina kvöldstund. Því miður ekki nóg upplausn til að ná almennilegum smáatriðum á Vestfjörðum.

Þetta er alveg frábært map, verð að segja að þú stóðst þig fjári vel og átt hrós skilið fyrir það að nenna að búa þetta til (ég er nokkuð viss um að ég hefði ekki nennt þessu :-P) og mér finnst alveg frábært að geta þekkt alla þessa staði (var að byrja á nýju save-i rétt áðan og byrjaði við mynni Hvammsfjarðar). Samt sem áður ponsu svekktur á hve erfitt er að átta sig á Ísafjarðardjúpinu og Jökulfjörðunum (vegna þess að ég er Ísfirðingur og fjölskyldan mín á sumardvalastað í Jökulfjörðum) en að öðru leiti er þetta frábært!

Well no, Jabberwockxeno .. First of all. You can only see a little part of the country at a time with the Historical Images feature, also I couldn't find a single spot with images older than 2002. My way worked for me though, but to each his own.

If I were you I just would have used the look back feature in google earth, which I imagine uses the same old maps.
