You did it a little different than I tried. I portalled directly into the funnel from that little area with the button after portalling the pellets into the water.

I did. I directed a bunch into the water but when I tried to go down the funnel there were more in it already. I tried that about a dozen times and said that's enough.

No luck with this one, I got to the platform with the button that activates the swing panel before you get to the funnel but going any further and I got killed many times by numerous energy pellets bouncing back and forth in the funnel. No idea how to avoid those. Thanks for your efforts, though.
