I get gun sounds without casings are hard to come by, but i do suggest you give that a shot. Good mod otherwise, keep it up!

Could you make a version without the casing sounds baked in? That is the one thing holding me back from using it, as I hate it when gun sounds do that

The sounds are neat and have more weigh than vanilla but, what about for those who have silenced weapon sound mods? Cause of this, can you add/publish every remastered-gun-sound by separate?

I feel like the Only issue is the reload sounds are basically the same without any real changes and the firing sounds could use a little more work but other than that this an amazing mod

I love the sounds on this, especially the casings falling on the ground! Only issue I have is the silenced SMG sound seems to cut off before the casing sound plays.

is it possible to take sounds ala-carte? like if i dont like the chrome shotgun or pump shotgun sounds in this mod but i like the rest, can you make each sound mod individual which like certain sounds but dont like others?

For anybody who's annoyed by the sounds cutting off: you can extract the VPK file using GCFscape and replace the files directly. However, installing any mods that change any weapon sounds will cause this to glitch much more noticeably. Also the Scout sounds don't seem to update for whatever reason.

some of the gun sounds are cool like the mp5 and the bullet casing sounds, but some are kinda weak like the shotguns IMO. I noticed that the singular pistol reload is different from the double pistol reload, I hope that gets fixed. other than that cool weapon sound mod.

Soundcache crashes the game after it finishes loading and idk if snd_updatesoundcache is doing anything they still sound muffled and bass-y around the actual sharp firing sound

Interesting, the workaround is exactly what I installed, but it still seems to just be very bass-y and odd sounding compared to every other weapon, like a sound effect from a 90s shooter

dont really remember the sound of the sg, but the mp5 is compressed because the original sound byte was aswell. In the description of this mod you can download a workaround to this

Idk what it is about the new SG552 and MP5 sounds but they sound off and jarring compared to the rest of the guns, the rest of them I love quite a lot though. The MP5 almost sounds compressed compared to everything else, and the SG552 a little too sudden and sharp compared to the other beefier sounds

The shell casings are baked in so to say, i cant really easily remove them without practically remaking all the sounds. Sorry for this, i would have liked a version without the shells aswell.

About the akimbos having mirrored sounds, it's due to error in the .qc file inside the viewmodel, for which i cant provide a fix in this mod in.
It is not something i am able to fix with sounds alone, and if i were to fix the .qc files it could and possibly will break compatibility with any akimbo skins.
