i downloaded this to try it out just because i got afterbirth + and now my game doesn't work :/

hey i found a bug (i think), getting isaac's heart means you can place infinite bombs without losing health

tainted being broken or a lit fuse would be interesting, like lit fuse could have a pretty high chance for bombs to drop from anything, but would auto blow up, or the gunpowder instead of tears, they shoot a spark, to make that useful, they trail gunpowder that when lit will burn, shooting spark tear things on chance, but would be have very little hearts

Yeah, ideas for the Tainted character. I haven't gotten around to working on Isaac mods, unfortunately.

There was a Rep update pretty much very early on and I fixed all features, the only thing the character is missing is a Tainted version, but outside of that I'm not sure what you're expecting?

i think its safe to say rep update probably isnt going to happen

played this guy with a smile on my face, the dude is another great approach to alt health characters that i feel like there should be more of (checked out the key dude too. might play him when i can lool)

@CJtem224 I do have a couple ideas, yeah, some involving gunpowder, others involving Giga Bombs.

can i ask if you have any ideas for T-charred? i thought that a troll-bomb charred thats constantly blowing themself up seems like a unique concept for them, personally.

Took me 2 whole days but the bad boy packs a world of hurt now. Enjoy, test, and yell at me if something is broken

I'm actually not sure if this is currently playable, I'll have to do a lot of testing.

@Alverdeo The current plan is to release a Tainted version for all of my characters. It's just going to take some time, I haven't done any modding in a while & I want to make sure that I can find fun alternative twists on each of my characters.

Alright, friends. It took me 10 hours, but I've finally implemented bone bombs! Hurray! They don't do anything at the moment, but it was important to me that you could still play this character just fine without running into UI issues.

I've also, naturally, fixed The Forgotten having bomb hearts. Always with these skeletons trying to steal the show.

I did notice there's a problem with bomb animations when placing soul bombs or black bombs, not quite sure what's causing it, but I'll be looking into that the following weeks.

Damn, I figured something was going to go wrong eventually. I'll see if I can fix it sometime.

for some reason this mod breaks with the new booster pack character, instead of having bone hearts he has the bomb hearts from this mod. Which is a shame since thtis character is super fun

can there be an option to make soul/black bombs only deplete half of the heart?



also, what is the difference between soul, black and gold bombs?

seconding Blhite's suggestion! it's really hard to get devil deals as the Charred.
Also, maybe a bug: if you get Isaac's Heart, you're immune to the damage and can place bombs freely forever.

hmmm... maybe this can kinda be like eden? except instead of being able to have every item, only bomb related ones.

The concept is great, 100% absolutely good work! Can I suggest something? When using a bomb, can you prioritize red healt instead of grey hearts (bombs)? Becuse in this way tinted rocks aren't "useful", when I want to blow up them I have to use my ENTIRE grey bomb, resulting in zero profit :( 1 grey bomb for 1 grey bomb, kinda useless, right?

Brunosly, what that means is that "curse of the unknown" has a question mark heart at the top to indicate that you don't know your health. With this mod enabled, you won't see that question mark anymore. Doesn't change much, because with curse of the unknown you cannot see your health anyway.

I believe there was a character idea like that floating around somewhere, so chances are you may get to see that made by someone else.

There are a few options, maybe replacing normal bomb drops with troll bombs, or maybe an item that could do something along the line of sulphuric tears or samson's chains

Thanks a lot, yeah, seems like this was an unfortunate side effect of the big change from actual bombs to hearts that are reskinned as bombs. The only logical way to fix this would be to replace bombs with heart bombs, but then there'd be an overabundance of health throughout the game, and I'm not sure if that's what I want? I'll think about it, though, you really helped with that discovery.

I like the character (it's a nice middle point between Keeper/Lost and the normal characters) but I noticed a pretty major conflict in one of the vanilla rooms. You know that one room that's just a bunch of rocks with bomsb in the corners that you're supposed to bomb through? With the Charred, no bombs spawn and you just need to hurt yourself 4 or 5 times to get to the next room. I don't know how you'd fix this, especially since it would probably have to change something major for the sake of a single room, but thought you should know about the issue.

Yeah, I absolutely can, but why would I do that? Bombs don't inherently have anything to do with each other in Isaac.
