hey just curious, how close is this mod to getting repentance support?

@God Tier Goop Sack Got held up with some other things, sorry about that! I've been having some trouble deciding on a good balance for the tainted version, but the regular version is complete outside of some edge-case items. I might end up releasing it without the tainted version first.

@Ydob The update is in the works right now, I'm hoping to get it out within the next week or so.
@gavotron2000 Not in the current AB+ version, and there won't be any in the initial Repentance update release, but I am planning on adding unlocks further down the line in another update.

Hey! If anyone cares enough to read this after a whole FOUR YEARS, I'm actually planning on overhauling this mod once mods are supported in Repentance, so hang tight! I'm going to be making quite a few fundamental changes, specifically to make this character a bit more distinct from Bethany. Repentance spoiler: Expect a tainted form, too!

He is way to slow and i cant win or get any deal with the devils. please i love this character but please buff his speed to 0.75

What is the png file of the laser rings? I want to recolor them but I can't find those projectiles in the grafics folder of the game

Oh yeah... one more thing...

If this character EVER gets an unlocks like "Adam" modded character has, then one of the unlocks should be Robo-Isaac starting with "Spider Mod". ;)

I mean, it makes sense, it's a robot, and it is able to "scan" his foes to get info out of them.
Another unlock would be him starting with Callus Trinket since it's a metallic robot, BUT with a little twist!

It can't get rid of it, kinda like "Tick" trinket, but you can get 2 trinkets if you have Mom's Purse or Belly Button.

Heya. I have a little idea how to personalise this character even from to stand out from the rest of the crowd.

Just like Keeper has Coin Hearts, maybe... change a graphics and sound effects for the red hearts into "Mechanical Hearts".

I imagine, shiny silvery hearts with little dots or certain pattern of nails being inside of them or something similar. Also, since this is Robo-Isaac, maybe give him immunity to explosions?!

Metalic titan should be able to be immune to bombs, and also... no other characters have that ability, and trying to find it in form of Host Hat or Pyromaniac, requires insane amount of luck LOL.

That would help against Mega Troll Bombs due to his low speed, as I lost a devil deal early on due to unavoidable mega troll bomb.

But hey, it's just my silly little opinion. ;P

I love it, only thing I'd change, is thanks to this movement speed, it seems balanced to start with Callus trinket, AND beautifully fitting. Robot? Yeah, they can probably deal with spikes and creep well enough, right?

idea for a synerg: if he has a certain amount of robotic items (9 volt, all tech's, ludo(?) ) he will transform and get a stat buff

I think it would be a cool idea to make his health be made from batteries...?
It doesn't make sense to me that his health is red hearts (unless, of course, you created a backstory for him in which he used to be human or something like that).

Hey, I had an idea. instead of the gamekid, could you give him a battery pack themed item that would make him shoot fully charged Tech X shots for the room that would fire at the same rate as the normal shots?

@Qazzquimby. It's probably a confliction, I haven't released any updates too recently.

@sebastrese I don't see the theme problem to be honest. I mean, we have the Technology items, so a technology character probably wouldn't be too out of place.

I'm not starting with the gamekid. Is that a balance change or is conflicting with something?

Really cool mod, really flips the Isaac formula on its head. One of my favourite custom chararacters I've seen so far, even if it isn't super fancy and flashy like some of the other ones.

Just a suggestion, maybe you could give him his own tailor-made spacebar item? The gameboy isn't bad, but it doesn't fill the role of soul hearts very well.

@Qazzquimby. Huh, could've sworn that Proptosis did work normally. I think I might know what's causing it though, so it shouldn't be too difficult to fix.

A couple of notes:
He antisynergizes with the gamekid with his lowered speed, so its usually a good idea to trade the activated item for something like an item generator.
I think Proptosis might be broken with the laser rings right now. The rings never decrease in size or damage, and it was basically a game winning item.

Great mod, easily one of my favourites.

Mom's Knife needs a synergy.
I dunno what, but it needs one.

@Alex Gyiyg I'll be sure to look into it, but I already have some syngergies with non-mod items to deal with first. (i.e. Tiny Planet)

@Aaron G_K_V Thanks for the suggestions, but I don't want to make the character too complex or too overpowered. He already has two gimmicks, even more would just be too much.

Dude, i personally love this mod, but here's a few suggestions. You can take one, or a few, or all and make like a themed character, like Uidsea's sinergy-themed runs. I would add Metal Plate as a passive item, (another piece of metal to reflect some dmg) The Waffer because being metallic makes you slow but also resistant to damage and a passive callus would be awesome, because you know, metal feels no pain from spikes or creep. That Bot-Fly as an unlockable would be awesome, but i dont remember if that fly was from Antibirth so... Another thing you can do is something like the anemic effect but instead of blood, drip oil... or you can make him to have just black hearts and call them "oil heart"...

I would love it if you could make the Technology Zero mod's effects synergize with these electric tears, it's a really neat mod item and I just found out these are incompatible.
