How do you make mods?

Hello, got a question or two, first, can I use the code and modyfy it for my own character? I can put credits from who it is. And secondly, in the code, I couldnt find anything for the tears delay and Im not a programmer myself but your code is quite easy to understand, could you write the tears delay part? I would be trully greatfull, and sorry for my english (not my first language) but I hope it was understandable enough

yeah sure, i got no problem with it, you can take whatever sprite you want. I had the mod paused for a pretty long time and i am still not sure when it's gonna update again anyway, cause I'm just trying to figure out some stuff atm.

I don't think Hutts would enjoy completely overpowered starts. That wouldn't be any fun or challenging, and would get boring quickly. Also, if you gave him Blank Card + Jera, he'd probably break the game in the first floors. I'm sorry if I'm intruding.

What if Hutts had a item that would slightly increase the chance to find consumables, such as cards, pills, and runes, based on his current luck stat? It shouldn't be a high increase, though, maybe +0.05 for 1 Luck. I think it would fit without being completely overpowered.

and since i just noticed that some people are asking about him replacing anyone, he doesn't. he is a strong, independent character, who doesn't need no replacement.

still gotta add the animation so the hair moves when you get brimstone and make some of the cosumes more compatible with the character in general, but i got a lot going on right now so that might take a while until i get to do all that

Item idea: "Hutts' luck" --- +3 luck and higher chance for finding items such as: polyphemus, brimstone, blank card etc. and adds 50% chance for finding jera rune after clearing next room.

An idea for an item to add could be his $100 glasses, the ones that light up. They could increase money drops or something.
