There are two Galil ARMs, the ARM 762 and ARM 556. The 556 has a 35 round 5.56x45mm Galil magazine while the 762 has a 25 round 7.62x51mm NATO, which is not 7.62x39mm. If I remember correctly Israel didn't want to use 7.62x39mm in their rifles, opting for NATO standard (5.56x45mm and 7.62x51mm NATO) so all of their rifles used either 7.62 NATO or 5.56x45mm

Imho the Galil should be the same since it, too, is in 5.56x45mm like the LVOA and ARX
