Could this be updated to work?

This does not work as of NOW, Even with everything it still shows a blank map and crashes. Needs a update.

Anyone have a current set up or tutorial to get this working with Hubs + Transport?

How I wish this map can be updated. And the roads united core be updated too. That's the only reason this map won't play

So if I get permission from @Stictoaster, does anyone want me to attempt to repair the damage to this map from time and get it working for Sunset Harbor update? (should take 2 weeks TOPS to get this done with all I've got going on atm)

bout to try it out right now actually, and if things disappear, I'm ok with making some changes, I'm going to probs do that anyway, since this is more than likely a very old map with well over half the latest DLC's not in mind, so things will need edited to work properly

but i have a problem with the transport system : the buses or train come out of the depot and a few seconds later all the lines shut down and the vehicules instantly go back the the depot.

do you know what's going on?

Thankfully I got it to work, yes the rail lines are broken you'll have to delete some rails and fix some things but overall it still works for me.

Is that so ? What has the designer to say about this...I never play on mountainmaps, but I figured this looks so beautifull, might want to give it a chance. But I don't want to re-install my game because of this...

I cant find any train station that matches the train tracks layout. Its out of sync. Any idea?

@strictoaster: are you working on a recent city atm? Or do you know some good people working on some nice city's?

@everyone the game has been updated multiple times after the release of this savegame, and even back then this was a bit of a hack, so it's very unlikely that this still works. Use at your own risk.

I am having a problem with this savegame. When I load the save I immediately get the error below:

This doesn't work. Tells me it's missing a file and then takes forever to load. Bit of a pity as I was looking forward to using this map ever since I saw your video.

Well I have OCD really bad, so that visual glitch was ruining it for me. I couldn't deal with it. lol. I tend to get REALLY fanatical with my cities. I even level the terrain in rounded off numbers (ie 60.00 or 60.5, not 60.01 or 60.43) lol. It's actually quite therapeutic for me. lol. Lately I've been adding more quays and leveling them off.

Don't know what to say other than the 'better bulldozer' mod worked for me. I never used it before. I just subbed to it yesterday, then was able to remove the line and then disabled the mod. There is a water connector 'dot' underground that I want to remove and then I should be all set. We'll see.

It really is a great map. I may try your suggestion though just to make a fresh one in the future should I need to if a game update ever causes an issue. So far, I've been rather fortunate. Haven't had to deal with a single 'broken game' caused by an update (knock on wood). lol.

@skitty's_daddy unfortunately you'll have the same problem if you use the plain map. That bugged station was there since I pretty much started the series so I learned to completely ignore it since it's a visual glitch, doesn't really cause any harm.

The mod to remove those stations is definitely not "better bulldozer", in fact if I'm not mistaken, that issue was cased by that mod.

Another solution you can try is opening the plain map in the map editor, export the terrain heightmap and create a new one. The only downside of this is that you'll loose all of the trees, sand banks, fertile grounds, etc... but the topography should look exactly the same.

I downloaded 'better bulldozer' and was able to remove those lines. Probably will disable 'bb' now since I use 'move it'.

So would the plain 'map' version not have this problem (since there are no pre-set transit routes?)

I've not had any problem whatsoever with this particular savegame aside from those annoying 'unconnected' flashing icons.

It's a GREAT map and if I have to start from scratch with a plain map (no roads), so be it. So do you know if the plain map has that bug?

@skitty's_daddy that's a game bug, had a similar problem but couldn't figure out how to fix it.
I think there's a mod that solves this issue but I'm not 100% sure.

Yes the map should load fine without Roads United, but roads will look vanilla.

There is an unconnected train line that I cannot delete despite deleting all train lines in the transport panel. In the middle of the city, there are two 'flashing' icons that won't go away.

I don't use the road core or united mods- I use the new road color mod. Will this game still load without the core/united?

After many attempts, this map loaded with a fresh install, but there's a train station in the city that can't be deleted no matter what I try.

Why is it saying that the theme is missing even though i have downloaded the cedar valley 4k theme

This is the most detailed, well balanced, topographically plausible map in the game. I've watched dozens of your videos building Cedar Valley. Thanks for your many hours of work.

Many of the tracks are disconnected for me when I load in the map. Is it suppose to be like this?
