man i miss using this mod :( wish there was something like it still, it was fun to watch big ships blow apart like in a movie scene, plus helped clean up big wreckage.

For example, when loading the zombie mod before mods changing the frequency of wolf distribution, depending on the mod you choose and the order you place it, you either will or won't have zombies.

Ummm. I riddled a ship with a Holes, and It was set to explode after 10 percent of its terminal blocks are gone. Apparently Damage from Phasers doesnt matter.

Actually, Could you code it in so Even if it does not take a certain amoutn of damage, If it takes a High enough Damage point hit In a a certain amount of time, a threshold if you will, it explodes. Also, the explosions dont need to ALL be massive
You could have it so that it randomizes, and makes certain parts just have holes blown out into them, not much external, internal is another story.

This does not work anymore. I mean... it does this thing where a couple of blocks in a diagonal line will disappear (no explosion) but yeah it really does not work.

how is the grid integrity recovered? is there a timer that resets the ship integrity after some time of not takin damage? or is it just whenever there are blocks added or their own integrity welded back up?

i uploaded a custom version of this script, involving the changes i mentioned, since you only can use it in multiplayer, when it is in steam workshop:

if you want the grid integrity status to be displayed on top of the lcd (for use with small LCDs or "automatic lcd's" "TextLCD" command for example), do the following:

extract the mod with 7z or similliar program, and edit the file: "GridIntegrityHook.cs" like this:

1. search for: "panel.WritePublicText("Current Grid Integrity" and remove all the "/n" after it.
2. search for "panel.SetCustomName" and remove the whole line.
3. repeat step 1+2 2 more times
4. save the file and put the data folder in another folder with tha modname and copy it to the mods folder

I remeber this mod.. Nice to see it even if with the jump dirve cirtical explosion mod I;m not sure if I'll use it.. still good to see old jems coming back to life..

That will make it quite difficult to capture or disable a ship. Space pirates will have a hard time. Still nice mod!

@jb_protect Not possible. Once grid is marked for explosion, it will keep exploding until there is nothing left.

@prbeeny It randomly spawns warheads on the whole grid until the grid is gone.
