Might I suggest practicing a walk cycle, specifically with a human model such as the ones from TF2? Walk cycles are fairly easy to learn how to make. It's a bit difficult to get them perfect, but they're easier than most other forms of animation, especially for beginners.
Also, I would be glad to give you tips on animation if you needed, despite not being the best at it myself.
It's always best to do a little bit of studying before getting into animation. It's always best to practice animation before submitting a session to the Workshop. I don't mean to insult you... but this really could be a lot better.
(I honestly have no sarcastic intentions with this comment. I am not attacking you in any way. I do want to know.)
