anyone update this for rimworld 1.0?

So I've poked around at the code and looked at the error report Rimworld Throws - I've fixed bits of it. But the assembly errors are beyond me at this time.

Anyone want to help me fix this? Its a great concept and I'm sure we've all had moments where something like this would be useful on any playthrough.

This ever going to be updated for A17? It's a simple mod, but it's so useful for compacting random bits and bobs that don't fit anywhere else.

this doesnt work. Whenever i filter out everything but vegetables(like tomatoes from telkirs expanded crops mod) I can get x75 maybe, but when i click to pack again i get a 'no place to haul crate to' as if im trying to haul the crate instead of pack it....

Market price $100 for 5 wood is way too high.

Where do I find this to build it, do i research it?

While it is a good way use crates, its far from being automated, because you still need to wait for stockpile to fill up, designate it yourself before any packing happens. Automated is when you set the rules once and thats it. So I do hope that will be added. Unless there are some code related problems with this idea.

This doesn't have an auto-pack, but it already has "Assisted-pack". Make a 4x4 stockpile for a specific item, like Drinking Cups or another trade good from the Medieval mod for example. Make a crate & set the filter for that trade item only. Tell a pawn to pack up an item on that stockpile, and they will pick up most of what is there.
I have pawns picking up 3+ items in a row as long as they are close. 4x4 stockpile seems optimal.
I've had Hauling Robots come by and pack things for me after telling the Crate to get packed. Feels fairly automated to me!
Traders WILL buy Crates containing items they want (as of a few days ago).

Yeah, being able to just tell colonists to autopack specified items in a crate would be huge. That would definitely help a LOT for runs with crazy amounts of new loot like Medieval Times. Just pack all that stuff and sell whole crate of it.

If you had an "auto pack" function where the crates are automatically filled according to their filters by haulers this'd function a lot like Dwarf Fortres's bins. It'd be a great way to keep clothing and weapons stowed efficently

If not so difficult, can it be compatible with Combat Realism (mod) and conside sizes of contained objects too?

Your mod is very cool and useful.
I think It will be better to add some stuff like a button for order to pack the filttered item automatically.

Edit after some testing.
So, this is a great little mod.
Make crates at the Crafting Spot. Name your crate whatever you like. Set the item filter to be just a few things, like parkas + jackets, etc.
Use the pack button, and click on items you want crated. Similar to how you would use a recruited pawn to attack or chop or harvest.
It seems to be a high priority job and there's a small radius for picking extra things up if you have the crate filtered properly.
Traders will take crates if they contain goods the trader would normally buy. (This is $%!@ awesome!) And a great reason to not mix up items too much.

Crate does NOT have Storage Search menu in it, ever, if you have that mod. Putting it above the Storage Search mod may break this one (keeps you from crating items)

Excellent mod, I've been using this so far to keep boxes of camping gear in so I can keep track of where everything is.
My only concern is when I pack things and select an item, quite often that item and things near it will also get packed as well.

oh cool. will definetly throw it in my mod order when i lose this current game.

Note, the picture is a little out of date. There was a bug with calculating masses for stacked items... The crates now will not hold even a full stack of wood, though they will still hold lots of smaller things like clothes and such.

I like the idea. and its awesome, but it does need some balance. 25k is too much. I think 10k is too much. Maybe 1k each crate and make each crate weigh 100.

I think 25K is so much and make it easer. What about 10K or something ?! When I saw image and how it's take I think so much.
