Hello everyone, here's a question... Is there an underground in this mod? When do you need to send someone for bonuses.. if so, it crashes when you select it

Aw man i wish i had checked that this was no longer working. seemed so awesome. But i just first event and crashes no matter what i select. did not realize not WOTC supported

Crashed with WotC on my first event. Thought I'd give it a shot even though I saw the comments. Sometimes you just have to confirm things for yourself in the off-chance that it works for your load order. Special snowflakes and all that... Cool idea though. And I'm glad Bradford finally figured out who's been smuggling in those damn Advent burgers.

Yeah, I've experienced crashes when applying this to WOTC and picking a choice (2 of the 3 choices lead to crash). Can you start by address it?

It's a cool idea, but it's easy to bypass because you can just right click to exit the screen.

Not sure if asked before but can I modify the timers, i would like shorter timers, more like keep it at a minimum of 1 per 2 weeks instead of going long stretches without an event

Scientists have crew levels. You can't see them ingame, apart from when they hit the threshold to actually affect something, which from what I've seen is arbitrarily high, so I'm unsure that that event actually does a whole lot.

I'd love to be wrong here.

Question: Just got the Captured Chrysalid event. One outcome was 50/50 chance of leveling a scientist and getting a corpse, or deleveling a scietist. What does that mean? I'm playing LW2 atm.

Just to say that i really love this mod. I always liked games that had " little gem stories" inside the basic game. Game feels more realistic with mods like this one. Add few more like this one!! Thank you!

When one event is happening, the summary is shown as text on the geoscape. Problem is, often enough Haven updates come at the same time, so my screen is flooded - or there is so much to read, that the text is already faded away and i have no clue what was the outcome. Any chance to display the summary in another form? Or is there a log where i can read it again?

Not entirely certain but I'm pretty sure the events will injure soldiers who are currently infiltrating resulting in starting the mission below full hp but not redfogged...

just wondering, but should SPARKs really be included in the list for "injured screwing around in the proving ground"? though... now that i think about it, my SPARK might've been damaged because OTHER troopers were screwing around with it.

@RealityMachina I got the bug some people have where things go to having negative time left without completing. I was able to find out this mod caused the problem for me. In general it's caused by a UI window not closing on the strategy layer.

In this case it was one of the event windows. It was the one saying advent was attacking a small town. Choosing an option would make the window go away but nothing happened after that. The window did disappear but the negative time thing happened afterwards meaning it or something else was active but not appearing.

@RealityMachina, Odd occurance here that you may or may not be able to add timing checks for. I had an event trigger as the Skyranger was flying to a mission site and the event disappeared when the "Start Mission" UI popped up upon reaching it. It was literally just in the 5 seconds it took for the Skyranger to float over there that I got the event. Any idea if that's something that can be prevented?

Strange this mod suddenly started to affect my project timers as well after a debuff i got , after uninstalling mod everything working well...

Yes, the base mod's events has some outcomes assume you're in a vanilla game, so the LW2 mod edits those ones to make sure they work by the new rules.

No, I just removed your mod, loaded my save, saved and reinstalled the mod after having quit.
I didn't pass time.
Well, Now I restarted a game and it seems to work, so if not, I will try this.

Hello, sorry to annoy, but I have the same random pause and negative duration problem mentioned 1 page earlier. I tried to apply your method, but i don't see any change even when the mod isn't installed, and the same when I reinstalled it. could you please help me? I really would like to make it work, it's a great mod apart for that.

Yeah ok so it's what I thought (couldn't find XComHQ when trying to get soldiers, so it quit rather than try to injure non-existent soldiers).

Hopefully the new methods I added (I think I should now have every possible method to get the current status of the Avenger, crew and all used in this) should catch it in the future.

I've packed all of the logs that I could find that might be relevant to the time. I have several launch logs included because unfortunately I restarted X2 several times in that play session and I don't recall about what time it was that I had the issue. Ahh, Would these be the logs found in Documents/My Games/XCOM2/XComGame/Logs? Or is there another directory to check? Within that directory, I have my latest crash log and a launch log. Which of those are of more interest to you?

@IceMaverick Yes if it fired successfully.

Chances are it didn't (specifically: I've noticed that sometimes I just can't get a game state of XComHQ), so please send me your logs because I need to track down why exactly the mod can't get the Avenger's list of available soldiers at times.
