Ah the reason why is that you made the bodytexture to replace every texture on the model. To apply the textures correctly you put the red texture on "scout_red" and the head texture (red or blue head texture doesn't matter) to "scout_head_hwm" hope that solves your problem

I did that, but it messed up everything on the HWM default model above the dogtags, and it gives it the texture of the entire body on the head + neck. How do I fix this?

I've used it before and it make Garry's mod even better. Trust me. But here's a few things of how to use it
To copy textures: R
To select textures: the scroll thing on your mouse
To apply textures: Left click
To set the texture to it's original texture: Right click

I'll add HWM soon. But you can use Sub Material Tool to copy and aply the textures to HWM models. But I'll work on a HWM version later on when I have the chance
