The map has a generated navmesh for nextbots, and Info nodes for NPCs, but do to the maps size and a limited amount of AI-nodes available (the source engine limits the amount) the NPCs will have very specific paths and wont cover the entire map.

Hmm ok, one question: Does the map come built in with a navmesh? I notice npcs will not move when on elevated positions like hills and other things like it.

Thank you for the report, but it will most likely remain unfixed.
I don't have the map files anymore, would need to extract it, which could couse other issues.

Unfortunately, I don't have the vmf file anymore, so you will have to use some sort of extractor that allows you extract the vmf file from bsp.

You can extract the gma file with gmad.

I have a few solutions you could try:
You could try restarting the game. (That usually fixes all texture problems).
You could check if you have mounted any addons that modify textures or reflections in any way and than disable them.
Or, you could try this console command mat_specular 0 (Note: it will disable all reflections on the map.).

I did notice it as well when testing the map, but I wasn't able to figure out what causes the issue, so I was unable to fix the problem.

Slight bug:
(I do believe this is my PC causing this, idk) But on certain areas of the map (Like the factory rooftop) If you stand at a certain spot and look at the town with the castle, everything would disappear, except for a few walls and rooftops

No I actually didn't notice that, the 2 parts of the name doesn't have anything to do with the devil, since the dev part stands for developer (developer textures map) and ville is frequently used in city names like Reidsville, Farmersville, Factoryville and so on.

I didn't do the full compilement because it would have taken 4-8 hours since my laptop can't handle such a large map compilement and the hammer tool isn't supposed to be used to create large map.

I followed the instructions from Valve developer community and used and still use map_edit command to place down the info_nodes https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Map_edit

I have a reason to believe that the problem is caused by fast vvis compilement https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/VVIS .

Since the map wasn't correctly compiled, some addons doesn't recognize the presence of AI-nodes and just doesn't work.

I didn't do the full compilement like I usually do, because this map is more or less a test that I conducted to see how big of a map I could possibly make. Since the map didn't look and that bad and I actually enjoyed it, I uploaded it.

Yes, for some reason Zinv claims that, even though the AI_nodes are present.

Oddly the nodes dont show up with Silverlans Nodegraph editor, ZINV also claims there are no nodes on the map.

I used up all of the ai nodes on the town.
Check the command ai_nodes in the console to see the actual ai_nodes (info_nodes).

I don't think you need ai nodes everywhere, like the edges of the map.

I can't add anymore ai nodes.
Hammer tool has a limit on how much ai nodes you can add and I had hit the limit on this map.

The lack of enterable buildings is the only thing here that keeps me from looking at this maps as I would an RP map.

The map is still really good and unique don't get me wrong. But I've heard alot of hammer's limitations and I can't blame the mappers for it.

Well yes, I had to delete an entire section from the map, the empty field from the refinery to the power plant had buildings in it. There is an area with a pointless wall with an empty area, in that area was a large enterable construction building.
I like the Source sdk since it is kinda easy to use, but it has many limitations when it comes to a large map.

Well I know that having enterable building is great, it allows the player more options, but in order to make at least 1 enterable and simple house I would need to delete 4-5 buildings in this map.

But if I make another large map I will try to make a few enterable buildings.

Its okay, Gmod is an old game and i understand it has some pretty strict limitations. Perhaps you should just make some enterable, That would make it a lot more fun to play in my opinion

I tried making them, but it wasn't possible, I had plans of making this entire map a city but reached the limit of objects posible in one map. I had some enterable buildings similar to ARMA 2, large and open buildings seen on Chernarus.
So I'm sorry if you are disappointed, but I can't make everyone happy, especially when the Source SDK doen't let me.
