As for how well they fit? Well, from the time I spent on this mod, I can tell you now that they make the guns sound SO much beefier. Mixed with Turok+'s balance patches for the guns, using the Normal Shotgun's almost as awesome as using Turok 2's!...And maybe, JUST maybe, even DOOM's! Thanks for this mod, really!
2. Also something i need to update with this, i actually couldn't find that sound file in any of my sources.
3. I wanted to limit the sounds to just Doom for this mod, just as a little nostalgia mix for the two games, you could go ahead and try your own 90s sound pack if you want.
thanks for enjoying it overall though, will try to update it in the very near future.
1. Shotgun uses the Super Shotgun's firing and reloading sounds, why?
2. The revenant's slap/swing sound could be useful for the knife or other melee hits in the game.
3. For the Bow and Chronoceptor, why not make an exception and perhaps use something from another 90s FPS like Blood or Shadow Warrior. I could try sometime and tell you how it goes.
