Maybe I'm missing this, but is there a description of the required building materials? I'm prepping a balanced modded merchant server (PVE) a few months in advance before a "Grand Opening". Will be putting a lot of work into this one (balancing and testing) before it is opened. Need to know if I have to tweak any recipes for balancing issues. Definitely will be including your nifty little mod!

Hey Rehv the well is still in the works. I want the scorched well, but allow it to irrigate equipment. It's easier for me to roll it out as seperate mod, so I don't have to disturb this one. Less updates.

All that wasnt even necessary to type but I see you've gained some confidence now that you've fixed your problem. The issue is you came here saying the turbine wouldnt place when in fact it would. You didnt perform the most basic of mod troubleshooting and if you had any common knowledge of server operation all of this nonsense could be avoided.

@Zayisha. You were insisting the mod author himself test it because you seemed so certain it was broken. Next time delete your server copies as you said yourself to fix it instead of coming here and wasting his time. It's normal procedure with mod updates.

Found the Problem. Looks like the download yesterday eve got corrupted and therefore the copy on my server too.

Deleting the local and the server copy and re down-/uploading solved the problem. Thank you for your quick response & help. :)

Its also possible your players didn't update their mods, I did an update yesterday. They may have just been out of date. I don't have any future updates planned for this mod, unless the dev kit breaks it. Good luck with your fix

Thats it, the fly command always bugs out snapping. You should be good after you disable your admin cheats.

Could not place the first on, so i enabled fly after that (solved some placing problems in the past.

Every furher tests were after using fly. i will try again and let you know.

I just placed two to test, and everything seems fine. Zayisha are using a command like cheat fly? Admin commands will bug snapping.

@ OG Combo & Zayisha, just updated my server to the newest version on my dedicated and the turbine works fine and places just fine. Zayisha quit wasting his time by claiming the mod is broken.

Well there is technically no wind on The Island / Center. However mine on the island spins really fast, and the one on scorched hardly spins. So I guess it's pretty random.

@ginge if its on a dedicated sever try reinstalling the mod, delete it off the sever 1st before reinstall

Try moving to another postition. Adjust your view angle before you snap it.

hi ive built this turbine, but can not place it down, it goes green but every time i click to place it just dissapears and returns to my inventory, any reason why ???

Okay I see, so technically this is just 100% useable on any map because you removed the wind requirement. Gotcha, cool Idea for primitive style servers.

Not really. This modifies the Turbine to allow it to run under ANY wind condition, including no wind. Scorched Earth is the only map that shows an actual wind value.

Does this mod just add the wind effect to the island?

Mod Updated: At my base this provided power all night.

The island and the center don't have wind. So how does this work on those maps?
