Works well on repentance

played with rep+, flooded cave doesn't lag to hell anymore, thank you

From what I've heard in the discord server, the fog effect (aside from the actual pngs) in ashpit, and most likely flooded caves, its hardcoded and may likely need a code to actually remove the fog itself. Unless there's a mod that actually removes the fog effect, might as well stick with this mod.

the small aesthetic sacrifice is beyond worth the massive performance boost this mod provides, definitely a must have if you're running a lot of mods and/or some good sized ones

This doesn't seem to work for me, it seems the fog is still spawning, though, it may be the fact I have Fiend Folio installed...

I don't think it was able to disable the fog on the mom chase fight tho

hopefully still works, only recently started playing issac, enjoying it but the fog effects screw with my eyes/head and i end up unable to play as i cant see shit. so this is a god send.

@900NutBoys the switch version runs fine for me, though now the womb hurts my eyes :(

Now the switch version has the fog and it completely ruined the performance of the game.

@Fork Guy: yes, this mod does remove the fog effect from the dark room -- said effect was removed in the 3DS version as well. while i don't plan on restoring it as i seen that all the fog effects in the game can lead to performance issues within the game (and i wouldn't want to decrease performance for other players for one effect) i would suggest restoring it with your own files, basically modifying my mod, if that makes sense

I think this mod might possible be removing the fog in the darkroom which makes it look really off, you think you could look into it?

i don't think i can do that, as those are props within the game itself. i can try looking into it sometime though -- maybe when i'm more free
