Unfortunately this mod is abandoned and not updated for long time. I don't recommend this mod at all. There are much better mod for 1986 and 1988 seasons with trackpack and with constant support from developers

Thx! One thing I find a bit sad though is that the Goodyear-Logo on the tires is mirrored. Maybe this is being continued - surely deserves it.

I've downloaded the mod but i do not see any cars or tracks. I unsubscribed and re-downloaded does anyone have any ideas on why rfactor2 is not installing the mod? I have plenty of memory and all my other mods work.

Fantastic atmosphere and recreation of F1 1988. I know I'm a bit late to this but just wanted to acknowledge how good it is and how much I enjoy it. :) And just to help out with a few earlier comments:
Auto/paddle shift - you can emulate that by playing around with the rF2 driver aids like auto clutch, throttle blip etc (sorry I haven't got the game open to list them properly).
Steering handling - I found the cars to be too nervous and prone to spinning for my driving style/ skill level. I now spend a lot of time (having fun and frustration in equal measure) playing with set ups to make them more stable and less prone to spinning and easier to steer. Generally I increase the wing level, soften the suspension, unlock the differential on coasting, and move the brake bias to the front wheels.
Even then, these cars have a lot of power for their grip so you have to be careful on the throttle and trail brake into corners. Like you should do with any car but just even more so here :)

This is probably the best mod for rFactor2. Complete, one click install. You have all the tracks of 1988 season, all the cars. All the AI!! AIW, ETC. Thats massive. No other mod has such a complete package, or if they do can you let me know other ones like this?. 10/10

I don't know is anyone is still moderating this mod but just to know that the showroom included when you install it is bugged in the latest version of the game. Just a black screen appears.

Please fix pit in monte carlo. Back wing is stuck with ASR Formula Ayrton Sennas 1990 McLaren. I cant get out.

Love this. The cars are brutal when the boost comes on. Very good AI. Ai @ 90% Aggressiveness @ 50% and I'm still near the rear but I love it.

@Lalle70 it seems there is something completely wrong about physics in this mod. I tried to run some qualify and races with AI and of course I supposed to see Mclaren Honda on top but it's not so... in this mod some bad and weak teams are on first positions and Mclaren with Senna and Prost is far from 1st place.. that's nonsense...it shoudn't be so

Yes, I am not willing to do that when the car is clearly way over volume. I just do not use this anymore. I use the tracks only. :)

Elin, i had the same issue. i went into windows audio mixer and turned rfactor2 itself dpwn to llike 3%. shame that carrera wont fix this, but hes mentioned in the below comments he likes the sounds this way.
a bigger issue is that the AI think their car is smaller than it is and frequently barge me off the track if i accept the default AI agression.

The mod is really fun, everything seems pretty normal, AI, tracks, cars. The cars being in the correct garages most of the time is fun too.

Thank you for the response. Is a shame, it would be fun to use the cars at the tracks. I am in Oculus Rift, if this assists in identifying the issue. I've been having great fun racing with 917s at the various tracks anyway.

I have asked about fixing the sound more than once as this great mod is undrivable until it is fixed. Same issue here, it is turbo volume at 1%.

Was there a cure for the sound issue others have mentioned? If I have engine sound at 1% or 100%, it's the same volume, very loud. I have not tried all of the cars. The tracks are amazing, I am loving them all. Pretty and very well optimised. Just a shame that I cannot drive the cars themselves.

Impressive content, all these original tracks etc., But I handling feels wrong (with default setup at least). Particularly at high steer angles cars suddenly loses traction and oversteer. It makes them almost undriveable for me. Anyone has setup tips to reduce this effect?

One of the Best Mods out there for the F1 Rfactor 2 community. Tracks are awesome to run in too.
