Why is this menu not in the first place in the ratings?

@Hell_Diguner Yeah, this one is meant to be a complete remake of the original NR menu, so of course i used that as my reference when building this. If you haven't already, you should consider installing Nitronic Rush! It's free, and it's basically Distance, really, and made by some of the same devs. Of course, NR was made back when they were college students at Digipen, so it isn't as polished. Still though, i recommend you give it a try! Artum's NR menu is pretty muchhis own design, so his is more original. Still looks pretty nice though! Anyway, thanks for at least trying it out, means a lot!

I have no nostalgia to fall back on, so it's a toss-up between this and Artum's Nitronic Rush menu. This one seems to be more professional, but it's not quite as visually interesting. Both have fairly harsh lighting that doesn't show off your car's paint job very well.

in this directory: Documents\My Games\Distance\Levels\WorkshopLevels you would do a search for this map. After the search, you would right-click on the map file name and click "Open file location." Once you've done that, you paste the music into the same place, and rename the mp3 file to be exactly as how the level file is. For example the file name is: "nitronic rush main menu.bytes". You wouls rename the mp3 file to "nitronic rush main menu.bytes.mp3". When the game launches, the game will auto-detect and override the ingame music with whatever the music is in the file. Did the clear things up for you?

When you say to place the mp3 into the workshop file: what exactly do you mean?
Were exactly would you put it and how would you tell the game to load it.
