Even far in 3.12 this mod still seems to function as it says on the box.

Not many mods can be future-proofed in this manner.

I tried running this mod with ironman enabled and the game wouldn't allow it due to the checksum being modified. This was the only thing I had on.

So you may want to look into that/change the description since it isn't Iron Man/Achievement compatible anymore.

Updated to 2.0 and its stealth change to defines modding. Adding an empty line such as "NInterface = { }" at the start of the file is now apparantly needed.

Renaming the file changes nothing (with the exeption that trying 00_defines.txt crashes the games). Other people report the same issue, so I am curious why it is working for you.

The define value changes work (tested them in one of my own mods). I would assume it is the filename. Try renaming it to "twod_with_hex_defines.txt" and see if that helps.

This mod is currently not working in 2.0. I have no idea why, because the relevant lines in 00_defines.txt seem to be unchanged. If anyones knows what's going on, please let me know. Back in 1.5.0 there already was a stealth change to how defines are edited, which broke many mods.

For me this mod is changing the checksum. Therefore I would assume this is not achievement eligible.

I wish there was a mod that removed 3D ship models and the combat graphics so the game doesn't crap itself in a 300 years game...

1.5.1 fixed the modding problem, this mod should now be compatible with any other mod again.

The mod should be working again with 1.5.0 but the only solution I found so far is to replace the entire Stellaris/common/defines/00_defines.txt. Thus this mod will be incompatible with any mod which modifies the same file. You can check compatibility with another mod by looking at its files in \Steam\steamapps\workshop\content or by asking the author.

This mod is currently not working due to a change in 1.5.0 modding of the defines. Looking for a solution.
