there wasnt 13 colonies. it was 13 prison camps as America was a prison colony for all the big European countries.
The mayflower was a prison ship that set sail from Southampton carying prisoners to the new world to clear out prisons in England. She got caught in a storm in the channel and sufferd damage and supplies washed overboard so had to call into Plymouth for repairs and take on more supplies and crew and more prisoners to replace the ones washed overboard.

Britian had New England, Virginia and the carolinas and parts of canada, Spain had Florida and everything west of the Missippi. Holland had New Holland which is now New york state with new york city being called new Amsterdam. France had everywhere else.

Just gotta take the gfx that's all

could you make it that the usa is a state and they are owned by uk, so it could be the state of new york and then they are a puppet of uk.

Please fix the colonies.2.t spam. It keeps spaming with the popup every in game month. Not a hard fix, just remove it. The mod is unplayable with the spam.

Please add native american tribes in areas unoccupied, would add more intresting groups to it.

@Malgath It is the first time I hear of the event even working. Before I stopped working on the mod, I was trying to make some events work, but they just wouldn't fire for some reason. If this problem happens to you, it will only in the mod. If I ever decide to go back to modding in this game, I will fix it but until then i doubt i will!

I really like this mod. But here are a few suggestions:
Make Louisianna a puppet of France
Make states like Tenesee, michigan and Ohio puppets of Canada or UK (it would make it more interesting) and a Texas revolution event in Mexico.

I'm having some sort of bug- an option event keep popping up. It reads the following:
Title: colonies.2.t
Description: colonies.2.d
Option 1: colonies.2.a
Option 2: colonies.2.b

Option 1 has no further description.
Option 2 says: Political Power -75
(United Kingdom) gains Puppet war goal against Connecticut Colony.

Neither option has any noticeable effect. The event triggers every few weeks, at no constant time that i've noticed.

So, uh.... is my game going to be punctuated with this nothing event forever? Was it supposed to work? I'm confused.

With the latest update, custom tags are a thing, so it may be possible for you to make a focus for all the colonies so that, if all the colonial land is controlled by one colony, they can do a focus that forms the United States by changing their custom tag (not actual tag). Of course, you would have to modify the vanilla US so it doesnt conflict.

Nevertheless very cool und bugfree mod :D

I think you should sperate canada into Ontario, British Columbia, and Quebec. Those were the historic divisions of Canada and would create more "surface area" for a potential USA formation.

@Der Weltbezwinger Thanks for the input, and indeed I thought Maine being with Massachusetts was a bit weird. When I'll have the time i'll do it!

PS the land in the north was the land Canada claimed in Maine and got after the Revolution, but in ahistorical 1820 the British gave back to Maine.

This means that you don't have to change the borders of the states.

Please make Maine an independent colony.
Possible Explanation:

By 1820, the population of the district of Maine in Massachusetts had grown so large that their representation in the Massachusetts Legislature was becoming a problem for the population, as the population had grown to 500,000 as a result of increasing immigration, while they're representation in the Legislature was little to none. The Mainers began to act in ways reminiscent of the (Failed) American Revolution, and the British, afraid that a second Revolutionary War might take place, and one they couldn't win, stepped in and made Maine its own colony, as well as granting it a little additional land from Canada to keep the Mainers happy.

You can edit this all you want, I just thought that if a made a suggestion I should at least help a little with its input.
