Um no the mod is definitely real I and a few others have been testing it. Darrentotalwar and HforHavoc are planning on making let's play videos on the mod for YouTube. I apologize if it's taking longer than expected but you must be patient.

In effect 3rd sec crisis is the main period of roman total war....usurpers (more roman factions at war between them), several barbarian invasions (picts, alemannic people, goths, african and arabian tribes....), sassanids from the east are all presents...in addition there are still some old-fashioned units in roman armies like praetorians and some new units (armoured foot and cavalry soldiers, foederati etc)....I am very concerned and curious about the development of this mod. Good luck.....I hope for a release very soon

If you are referring to the Roman one you have to have both packs for that one to work.

Recommended mods are not compatible with yours. Do not see textures

I'm sorry but there is much evidence showing segmentata and large scutums used well into the 3rd century. It is not imagination. If you would like a brief history of it check out Legions in Crisis by Paul Elliot. My upcoming mod starts before Diocletian whom is the emperor that discontinued the use of segmentata. In 260 Roman troops were still using that equipment, and wore the niederbieber, heddernheim, and niedermormter helmets alongside what you describe, and still functioned like the legions of the Principate.

to GIC: romantic imagination. Lorica segmentata, large scutum was relict of the past at mid III century. This shape of apperence was definitivly end at severian period, before crisis exeption local and hard romanizated region. Watch yourself reliefs of this period-I talkin about late III century. Roman troops were never again looks like early principate. The best legionary Ioviani and Herculani created by Diocletian has used ovally shield, veruta no pilum, lorica hamata or squamata no segmentata also spatha sword no gladius.Sorry for my english

Well to be fair they still bear resemblance to the old legionary - the large scutum was still in use. Lorica segmentata was still worn and the helmets still bore resemblance to the high principate ones.

Trotsky: old rome legionary? What do you mean? Mod PAX Romana will be dedicated late third century Aurelianus period and legionary with old fashion doesn't existe, only names has remain after principate troops.

Take the time you need to make your mod great (speaking of Pax Romana), I've looked through your pictures and all your progress that you have uploaded and I think that you and the other mates are doing a great work! It is modders like you that makes these kind of games survive for much longer than they should have done if there was only vanilla. Best of luck!

Pax Romana is a 3rd century Crisis mod. As to the release date I cannot give you an exact but it certainly should be before summer.
