It should work if you close and reopen the game, if not, try locating your mod manager in the main menu of the game, and make sure the mod shows up, if it does, than make sure its green and not grey, and if it isn't make sure the green button on this page says "Subscribed" rather than "Subscribe"

Make sure you reset your game, than he should be in your character list.
