Does anyone know how i can disable the changes to common infected?

Does it work if to turn off Competitive-Bots+?

A problem with this is that it will spawn SI even in situations where the director is supposed to be disabled.
(During setup in survival or before the survivors leave the saferoom in coop)

even better with the prevent ai charge addon if you use that versus single mutation instead of console. this will fix spawn issues. you did a good job

Hey yall, I found a mutation called "Versus Single With Bots" by Chlorororororo, I don't have the double SI issue on it. because of how ai spawn, there can still be 2 alive at the same time as this is built in to how they are programmed to spawn, but they do not spawn in doubles on that. So you are able to use both of these plugins on that mutation I found and have fun.

forgot i had this and wondered why smokers were isnta-smoking me on normal difficulty

i only downloaded this since advanced bot ai kills tanks in mere SECONDS and the SI are weak to them.

works well with the special infected ai trash talk to make you feel like your in a versus game

Does this module work alone without the need of the main addon ?

why the bots rarely spawn

This mod is great, but I wish they would make code that would allow the user to adjust the values ​​for when the hunter dodges by jumping and when he dodges by attacking when he gets shot from afar.

uh just a heads up this WILL make special infected spawn in pairs, 2 smokers, or two hunters. cant disable it either.

It does not appear in the mod list if you also have the survivor module installed.

This mod gives me skill issues :)

this mod is basically making special infected attacks you instantly. so it's like expert mode
boomer instantly pukes
smoker instantly grabs you with his tongue
etc you folks get it what i mean

The changes from this script mod don't seem to get applied during singleplayer games unless I load a map thru the console. (which isn't a big deal but somewhat tedious to start custom maps)
Otherwise the mod works from what I can tell.

@Ticklish Toast This Director behaviour is by design. It reflects the Director phases/tempo [left4dead.fandom.com]. Commons don't spawn in PEAK_FADE nor RELAX. The duration of these phases can be controlled by cvars, but this wouldn't be vanilla. In fact, this is something mutations sometimes do. So it wouldn't be wise for this addon to change this core mechanic.

im i forced to sub to this mod for the competitive bots+ ? because i don't want the unnecessary difficulty spike if i just want to do this casually

Same game I typed that comment, had a Charger charge. Seems it's just a little rare.

Chargers aren't charging with this enabled. At least, I've not seen it. They keep running up and trying to punch survivors.

@kot: I'll need to revisit these values since some of the special infected tweaks tilt VS in their favor. Best to leave this off in VS modes for now

Does this affect bots only or is it infected team generally? Don't want this to make player infected too op with some stat changes

I'm gonna have to use only this one. I don't want to give up on the more aggressive specials (I play on Normal and hate the dumb delay on Smokers and Boomers when they see you) but the Competitive survivor bots are really derpy. TLS update completely broke the survivor bot branch.

Hey man does this change lighting in any way? Somehow this conflicts with a fullbright mod i had subbed too that the fullbright and this couldnt work in game at the same time
