I want fires to spread, just not so quickly.
- Probably compatible with Cities: Skylines 1.13.0-f8 ?
- Mod seems (or is) abandonned; future updates are unlikely.
- Can cause performance issues (lag or framerate drop in-game).
- Some users experienced problems; check workshop page/comments for details.
- May cause in-game lag if there are huge numbers of trees in your city.
- The game now has a built-in option to control fire spreading that might be better alternative to this mod.
- If you want to turn building fires off, try 'No Fires' mod or 'No Park Building Fires' mod.
What a "nice" list, isn't it? You can read here: c:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Cities_Skylines\Cities_Data\AutoRepair.log (LemonsterOG told to check, I am just going through it). The last one is pretty bad advice, since "No Fires" does not work at all, it is a 2015 mod.
What's not working for you? What steps have you taken to resolve your issue(s)?
Trees in CS are like leaky barrels of gasoline for some reason. One thunderstorm burned down at least half the trees on one of my maps recently!
I like the threat for fires but it is insane how flammable this world is
Subscribing to this one now, before I start up my newest map; because I want a nice fertile river valley not a barren scorched desert lol
Not the right thing to do for some but I'm ok with it, until (if they do) CO addresses the issue.
Removing this mod and nothing changes
Yeah looking for a realistic feel to be honest. I have my simulation using the "slow" mod that slows down the simulation to a realistic speed, along with Rush hour etc so everything is running pretty accurate. So firefighting etc if the A.I could be set to not immediately extinguish the fire when they arrive that'd be cool like.
Cheers m8 and i agree probably better as a separate one off :S
Cheeaz :)
An element I have not yet seen is how fast fires are put out. Would like to see crews tackling them actually being able to deploy there hoses before it goes out lol. - That is probably tied to slow simulation but fires are not affected yet.
Love this mod btw as it does give more flexibility over base game :)
