Updated this to v1.1
- increased the distance between player lands and the edge of the map
- got rid of grouped_by_team

yeah, i was able to fix it by unchecking "team together" but it's weird

@mills - ♥♥♥♥ you are right. It's wierd though. Did you have this this happen in the scenario editor or in an actual match? Also, were your town centers and walls practically overlapping eachother?

I'll look into it when I can; in the mean time, here is some stuff you can try:

If I remember correctly, what I did was to set it up that players would be "grouped by team" if they were on the same team and the "team together" tickbox is checked. What this means is that the team will share walls. If that's what you mean by messed up spawn positions, then don't tick the box.
Otherwise you also want to make sure to pick a suitably large map size.

try launching the map 3v3 w/ AI, the spawn positions are ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up

For a FFA, everyone should get a seperate base regardless. Just select a sufficiently large map size.

If you select "teams together" tickbox, then team members will share a base. Untick the box if you don't want this to happen

Not too bad, only issue is that bases have a habit of spawning inside eachother...

Interessting idea but sadly little buggy and not enough wood inside the castle for me.

Some players are starting together without walls between them on FFA with 8 players

Wonder how this would play out, I guess full 1tc push is still the best way too go. But you could try cut and grush to push opponent of wood, but thats hard me thinks

It should work alright with the AI. They will even build docks once they cut through the tree line.
