Hey FavDaddy, Still tweaking South East side of Rochester. I have most thru roads laid out, State, County and Interstate roads at least. Train tracks in... but now I'm baffled by the canal. The map editor is a bit limiting in this area. I did find that Parallel Roads mod was pretty helpful with the tracks and interstates. I'll take a closer look at Capital District in a bit.

hey Markgy54, I hope that my map helped...I know that it isn't perfect, but I gave it a solid effort. The best part about my map, imo, is building the capital district how I wish it was built. I hope that it did inspire you and if not, maybe I can do something for you in the area that you;re looking to do some day in the future.

Looking at other upstate maps too. Working on one for south east Rochester (Victor,Farmington,Fairport) area. stalled at the moment, need some inspiration. Wife is from Capital area.

Wow, thank you so much for the kind words. I really appreciate that. It wook me several hours to get it as accurately as possible (the rivers being the toughest part). I wish that I was able to get more of Albany itself while still getting the Mohawk and Hudson rivers on the map, but the scale would have been off big time if I had zoomed out enough to do that. So I went with where the Hudson and Mohawk meet up, since that's one of the most unique physical characteristics in the world. :)
