@Boris what do you mean? did you subscribe to the required mods list? did you also make sure to activate said mods in the mods panel?

How do I make people come to my city?

the High Contrast LUT might be an issue giving the weird blue tint,I switched to Clarity (which used by Arrowhead) and it looks better but still quite a distance to screenshots above. Somehow my game appear much darker and lack of exposure but I can just fix that with SweetFX.

It looks foggy to me, does it look normal when zoomed in? There is this ugly distance fog effect in the game when zoomed out. Try this mod and disabling fog and clouds.

that seems to be a vanilla bug from what I can gather where it doesnt load the correct theme. Try subscribing to this mod and make sure you select the right theme when you load the game and hopefully that works!

PS: make sure to actually activate the mod in the content manager panel in game after subscribing

great map but I've noticed somewhat randomly when I reload the map the entire map is covered in green terrain. Haven't really figured out if i can fix it

@SunDragoness Did you make sure Network Extensions Project is activated in the mods panel? I've had problems where I subscribe to a mod but forget to go in and actually activate it.

Not sure what you mean by "trains are not unlocked" can you elaborate?

well at least there are no road on the map for me, even though i sunscribed to everything needed

no road connections? treains are not unlocked = unable to play this map unless u have everything unlocked. nice map tho

So its loading the default grass theme instead of the Arowhead Valley theme? That's really weird, I can't seem to reproduce the problem on my end. If you do become willing to download another mod try this, it gives you the ability to select the theme and environment when you load a game:

@sabcakes It seems to be vanilla bug, you can only load custom themed map once, the next time you play, you cant get it to work right. I hope there will be a fix for that. There apparently is a mod to do that, but I really dont want to start to get mods to get other mods to work, to get other mods to work... And then try to remember after a month that which mod does what lol

@Ophion - Ko0o If you need to upgrade segments of the highway, just spread out the segments where you need to, you seem to be complaining about this being too much work? Also if you have the Anarchy or Move it! Mod this is the simplest task of all. This map is created with aesthetics in mind to give the player the best canvas to create a Arid themed city.

@Kleppo Can you send me ascreenshot of what you're experiencing? I'm not exactly sure what you mean by green but i'll definitely take a look!

1 star, the connection roads are placed too close to each other to be upgraded or otherwise edited, unless you turn the connection sites into a 1 lane road (2 lanes does not fit, and cannot be placed) and make the seperation bigger, causing a traffic jam throughout the whole map. Seperate the roads by atleast enough to upgrade them to the highest road level.

Otherwise the map is useless and broken.

Furthermore, cannot add a highway connection to or from the main road, since they are too close together.

Nah, I thought I handled it... But cant seem to get that yellowish look in the pics anymore, did it at first some times. Now I just get either dark green, or then greenish yellow. Is there some trick to use custom maps? And the highway seems extremely busy, constant stream of cars going all the time, day and night. And how about the weather system, seems to rain a lot in the desert?

Oh it seems that you need to load the game separately, not just select "Continue Game".

How to fix the green valley problem? Used to help when I realoaded the game, but doesnt work anymore? Sad, I thought the map looked really good.

Drag a dirt road, upgrade it, works fine for alignments =)

If you need intersections on the highway instead of onramps and offramps just spread them out when you need to silly.

ASthetically the highway looks great being that close together but is making it near impossible for me to build intersections for it.
