so in the map there is the trans contintiental, and like.... that is the only part hat really indicates that the contientn the map is on is trans- i think that it woulkd help people who are not as smart or cleevr as i am to understand that the continent is trans. Maybe add a notew somewhere emntioing it, though the transcontinental place called that with the sign should be a good enough hint- i dont thnk it is,

i read his obituary. RIP. this guy was a good dude, he was only 6 years older than me and he passed unexpectedly. we used to RP together 2015 era and his maps were goated. he will be missed

Прочитал в комментариях ваш ответ о какой-то ошибке, вызванной одним из обновлений гаррис мода или вроде того. Также я из этого комментария понял, что исходники карты затерялись. Мы попробуем исправить всё перечисленное и немного переработаем карту, если вы не против. Как закончим, то сообщим вам и добавим в соавторы аддона. Надеюсь эта карта станет ещё лучше.

when i try to open the map it goes back to the menu

in the area near the back of the map where the brick apartment is, there is just white brushes along the road. they seem to not be brushes but they are placed/rotated where a prop should be

I have HL2 EP2, EP1, CS:S and i downloaded required extra content and i still have some missing models and textures

It's not a computer Issue, I think it has to do with maybe conflicting addons. Or the map is just broken idk. It doesn't load for me either.

I liked this map, but it never loads. It'll start loading, but take me straight back to the main menu. I have every Half Life game and CS:S installed (and activated in-game), as well as your content pack. Is there anything else I can do?

Thanks for the comment, I'm glad that you appreciate it. I had considered revamping the map after the recent Gmod update which increased entity and brush limits and such, but I had some trouble getting all of the assets I needed together. That said, if any enterprising mapper is up to the task of making a new version of the map, they are welcome to contact me to arrange that.

I'd just like to say this map is so aesthetically pleasing, it's got such a grimey nature to it and looks awesome. Especially for being a beta! I'd love to see an update but of course Hammer isn't fun to waste hours on haha.

Like I said, POTENTIAL Killer. I do have a strong feeling that there are other addons like the one I had that could help to prevent the map from loading - I just don't know what ones.

Though i never had it installed and it still crashed for me man. That theory may be flawed.

OK, for all you guys who are having issues with loading this map (that is: you select it for loading, but after a while, it crashes and sends you back to the main menu), I think I have found the potential killer.

If you have subscribed to the 'Extended Paint Tool' (This one to be exact: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=373026536&searchtext=Extended+Paint+Tool) , Unsubscribe from that addon immediately! I pulled this idea last night after looking over a comment on the gm_chaparral (been having the EXACT same problem with that map too). I'm yet to test the theory on that one, but for here, this map now works for me once more!

I don't have the time in my life right now to update this map, not to mention that I'd have to find a bunch of files to get it set up again in Hammer.

I don't know what causes the crashing issue, because I haven't had the time or inclination to fogure it out, and nobody has given me any specific information about what error is causing it. I don't have the technical know-how to diagnose a problem like that, particularly when the map worked in the past and it was an update to Gmod (apparently) which seems to be the root of the issue.

If anyone is up to finding out what causes the problem, I'd at least have somewhere to start with solving this issue, if and when I get time to do it. As it stands, it's too much of a time commitment and I have no idea where to begin.

When will this map update? My freinds and i love this map to death and would love to see expanded.
