the unique religious unit didn't work for me. I couldnt place religious great works in my cathedrals

The peace soundtrack for this civ is incorrect. It's "Gloria" from Palestrina's mass of Pope Marcellus: "Missa Papae Marcelli"

Just won a Cultural Victory (Turn 316) Deity with the Papal States. Super fun civ for pushing religion around and made the Piety tree relevant. Great work

is it just me or do exactly three very closeby bandit camps immediately appear whenever I choose this civ? It's not nearly as bad with literally any other civ, but when I am the Papal States, I can hardly get me feet off the ground before I'm invaded by ludicrous amounts of bandits.

Tried this mod, but for some reason, when I got my first great prophet, I couldn't found a religion. Same when I got my second one. Anyone else run into this?

I'm not sure if anyone else has mentioned this, but the Swiss Guard is acting really buggy. If you buy it with faith, it can't move the same turn it's purchased. If you buy it with gold you can move it, but not only does it not count for tourism (tested after radio) it makes all of your other Swiss Guards stop counting for tourism too. If you buy another one with faith after you bought one with gold that one will give tourism, but all of the guards that you previously bought with faith before you bought that one with gold still won't give tourism. Also, the faith cost scales with era. Maybe that's intentional, but it seems weird because the gold cost stays the same.

The mod makes it impossible to add City-States in my game on Giant Earth Map pack. The slider is set to 0 and can't be moved.

This civ has made it so city-states dont spawn on ynaemp if you could fix it that would be great.

It seems the Papal States hates other States ;)

Play with the Pope.
Make a Religion.
Spread it.
Then, invade all the infidels with your armies of believers.
Invade your allies. Easy with the tourism, their cities practicaly join you without loss.
10/10 Deus lo vult again.

i am trying to use this mod in Ynaemp but it will not show up for me to pay as.
i have BNW and other JFD civilizations work just fine

Does this Require anything?
I only enabled JFD Papal, Piedmont and Sicily but it doesn't show up in selection screen

Seems to conflict with Communitas (https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=75620160) . I start with 4 unhappiness with Papal States with Communitas on but 6 happiness if Communitas is off.

Is there a specfic time period when you can purchase disclples because I'm in the classical era and I can't get them yet.

I've been experiencing a few issues with this mod lately. Firstly, I seem to always have powerful military promotions available to me like Crusader and Siege. Also, lately, whenever I try to start a game as these guys, my settler is being given the option to Write Political Treatsie (the function of a Great Writer) instead of actually founding a city.

I hope this hasn't been mentioned umpteen times before, but in the illustration above "Landsknecht" is spelled wrong (next to "Swiss Guard"). Also it should read "Does not become obsolete." (last line of the "Swiss Guard" description).

I like this nation. Culture + Religion is a good combination. Yet i like the music that play in the game.

Not sure if this is directly tied to this mod or something else, but it keeps crashing the game. It's happened four times in a row. I can't make it past the first 150 or so turns without it crashing. I haven't downloaded any additional mods, so I think it's related to running this one. Anyone else having this problem? Otherwise, I was really loving this mod and its gameplay.

Don't know if this is still being looked at, but I can't seem to make Great Works with disciples. I've got slots for them but the button is greyed out when i try making them.

Great mod! There's a display bug for the "You can buy a disciple with faith". It shows rubish message code. Also, I can't seem to expand great work with disciple sometimes even if I have a great work slot available.
