What does it talks this gmod puzzle map?

Do you know what Pakrat is? Or anything similar to it?

It packs stuff into the .bsp. You wont get the textures, models or sounds as separate files, that means you can not overwrite exisiting files, be it from HL2, CSS, TF2 or any other Valve Game.

And even my second upload (missing textures, models, sounds) to this map only uses custom made stuff which you can not own already, so there is not a single chance you could overwrite (replacing) anything.

And if you do not talk about Goliath, why even asking here? O.-

Btw am not talking about Goliath when am talking about GModTown just saying if u think am getting confused with the wrong map.

So if i get GModTown (which reskins the CSS keyboard) and go to another map it won't be reskinned?

Ya cause these GMOD Workshop Uploads use external files but this map has all textures, sounds and models packed into the map so if there is anything replaced then its only on this map, i also create copies of original files and make them custom to avoid this overwriting. ;)

It does replace nothing, no textures, no sounds, no models or anything else.

It`s a map not a mod.

What about textures does it replace textures on default HL2/CSS/GMod Props?

All sounds using in the map are in the map.

What an incredible map. You've done such a great job with the detailing and atmospheric ambience of everything. Really enjoyed exploring and appreciating your artwork.
Wish the graphics and lighting were those of today's roleplay maps, because I would have loved to use this on my server.

I noticed a little incompatibility with some Ambient sound in GMOD. Or there is a problem with another Mod which uses an ambient soundfiles which overwrites the map one.

Normally the city sound is not too loud and not too quiet. And if you leave the town the soundscape changes to wood sounds.

Also notice: If you use Noclip and fly from 1 area to another wiithout touching the soundscape areas you will stuck in 1 soundscape.

I don't know what I did wrong but I hear random metal "Stomps" come from various corners of the map no matter where I stand, it sounds like a large door shutting

and the ambience is like blaring wherever I go

Some years ago me and some friends had our own server and our plugin writer made its own.

If you setting up a server with that map then there are many ways to remove all vehicles or other stuff at map start with some server plugins/ scripts etc. :P

And sorry but i'm not going to explain how to edit my map.
Lazy mappers will do that sooner or later anyway. >:S

Is it possible to edit the map? And if it is possible can you explain me how (I am an hammer editor newbie and dont know much about gmod).
Would be nice to have the firetruck out of the station and some other little removes :)
