This should already be compatible with dawnguard. It is also compatible with the latest patch. I'll try re-saving it with the CK see if that helps, just make sure you are loading it lower down than anything else that effects followers.

Please update this Mod to be compatible with Dawnguard and to be compatible with the latest Skyrim patch please author, please reply today author.

Sorry man, I love your mod and been using it for a loooong time but I have to unsubscribe. Steam is driving me crazy, everytime I launch the game, it re-downloads entirely all my Worshop mods, which takes forever - and fucks up my load order in the process, forcing me to rearrange it manually every time!.. This whole mess takes a full hour before I can play!.. I was already fed up with the constant tweaking of my settings when synchronizing, but that last stunt does it! I'm going offline. If follower tweak doesn't edit the follower quest or the equipment like the bows then yes it should work fine with it.

How do I know if a mod will effect my achievements or not?

Have been using this mod for a while,Cheers Bud. As you have looked into jow companion eqpt works, do you think you could figure out why they always want to wear the base armour version rather than the improved set of any given kit. For example: You give someone a full set of sup Leathers and as soon as you get them to hold some plain L boots they will wera them instead! Irritating!

Companion had over 30 bows on her... at least now she can carry more than 2 items I give her to help me haul back. Still having minor issues where my companion won't always use the Daedric Arrows I give her though...

Wish I could teach my follower Conjure bow...

This does not break anything to do with followers and their infinite arrows. They only had infinite arrows because the BOW let them. Yes you do need to give them ammo now, but you needed to in Fallout 3 and FalloutNV as well so I don't see a problem. It is not a bug.

if the mod has infact broken the infinite companion arrows feature, just use the console to give them like 1000000 arrows of whatever type you want. Its not like your giving yourself an advantage or anything, companions were designed to have infinite arrows.

You're right, I just noticed that last night too. I'm guessing that because the mod has killed off the respawning bows that it has also done so for the arrows too. Meaning that you now have to keep your followers stocked up with arrows. I suppose in a sense it's a more "realistic" approach, which in itself isn't a major problem as I have hundreds of arrows in my inventory, over 500 Ancient Nord Arrows alone and not far off that in Steel Arrows. The better stuff however I still only have in tiny handfulls.

yeah my follower used to just have to have one arrow and it wouldn't run out.. but now after this mod my follower will use up all arrows they have and then won't use their bow. is this just me? why is this now happening?

As the others have said, take away any oyher arrows she might have and then just give her one of the best that you have. She only needs one and it will bless her with an infinite supply. Works well with a mod like Pincushion, as you can clean up afterwards and bolster your stocks of arrows.

@SouthpoleJohn, followers do use the arrows you give them. If you are having issues then remove all the other arrows the follower has.

Great mod. Was wondering if there is also a way to make Lydia use the arrows i give her instead of using her crappy arrows?

I think this mod is a fantastic idea because all the followers seem to have a hunting bow no matter what and would rather use it than they're godly custom weapon you give them. There were times where it was very frustrating that 2h and sword and shield style companions ect. would rather use the dispicable hunting bow than use a enchanted daedric battle axe or some other better bow in there inventory.

Worked for me! Lydia is now currently picking off her prey with a Dwarwen bow of Fireballs.. ; )

Adding the same function for their iron arrows would make this mod much more useful.

That mod might only be a temporary solution, i removed all huntig bows from Aela via console and after i send her home once she stopped using bows as soon as combat starts and uses melee weapons or goes hand-to-hand.
But will give this a try next week.

Kevin, that's normal. If you talk to her and ask her to follow you, all her gear will reappear on her as it was the last time she was following you. You will not lose what you've already given her. However, if you give stuff to a companion then let them go, and subsequently lose track of where they went - you could potentially lose your stuff to the vastness of the game world, lol.

I have an issue if I leave her alone and she goes home, she puts all the gear in her inventory and I have to ask to trade with her to get her to put it on again. Haven't lost any gear with Lydia yet.

Actually this is not caused by this mod, I don't have this mod installed and I have encountered the same issue. I'm not sure exactly what causes this to happen but it's fairly simple to bypass by making sure you take anything you don't want lost off them while in your house and store it. Other than that not sure what else you can do or what might be causing it.

@nightwraith666 I haven't edited anything that should cause items to disappear. I haven't come accross this in my game but I will keep a look out for and hopefully fix it when I narrow it down. Thanks for the feedback!
