Just wanted to say, thanks for this! This mod has enabled my group to play together and this game has given us a lot of good memories.

I'm using this mod May 2020 and works fine. Just one problem, on the intermission screen, with 6+ players it stucks and needs to skip the scene with escape. Everything else works fine. Thank you man. This mod makes the game really amazing.

@domokun Xbox One controllers are considered 360 controllers by the driver, so yes it's because of the 4 controller limit of Xinput

This mod appears to work as it displays 8 boxes at the character selection screen and recognises inputs from 4 Xbox 360 gamepads but not 2 Xbox One gamepads. Is this due to Xinput's limitation of 4 devices maximum? Also, does anyone know of any solution?

this crash did not occur the last time i used this mod
uninstalling the mod fixes the issue

Any updates to this mod? obviusly i can't get pass to the 5-6-7-8 player to get in, i have 4 ps4 controllers and 4 xbox. Hope this will work :c

How do I get this to work? The character selection screen shows 8 players and we can even get the 4+ character to show up, but the controls uses one of 4 originals controls. We play local using an X360 wifi dongle. The problem is, if the fifth player is used, it shares controls with another player (ie if player 1 moves right, so does player 5).
