centipedes recycle for 50 steel, 10 plasteel, and 2 components as of 1.0, and the other mechanoids have had the same disassembly nerf too

since they're harder to defeat, i recommend 70 steel, 10 plasteel and 2 components, a similar but increased reward for disassembling them

neat Idea. i'll probably try this mod out some time in the future when I make my "You gunna die real good" playthrough

Yeah, currently What The Hack does some pretty cool stuff, it even has a config on which enemies can be hacked :)

just did my weekly scope out on the rimworld mods.... while im bored s**tless with a half-ass'ed laptop lol...

when i noticed the " What the hack?! " mod
it seems that you'll be able to "hack" the mech enemies <333333.

with any luck that'll open doors to the raiderpedes being hack-able aswell :D:D

ill be honest, i sadly haven't been able to play with the mod yet,,, as my GPU fried and im stuck playing on this half ass dogs**t laptop lol...

that being said tho just because i havn't used the mod doesn't mean i dont think its any less awesome

just a shame that dumb ass raiders are able to control the pedes but our smart as highly advanced colony cant lol
(but hey,,, not to worry xD thats just the limitations of the game not the mods fault easier to clock them both as enemies then to set one with the ability to be an ally and one an enemy xD)

but who knows XD the devs will add an option that allowes us to be allies with more then just factions :)

its just gets under my skin a far bit, when people complain about stuff they are getting done for them...

that and morals are a big thing for me... so its basically a point of good morals to at least say thank you for the time your taking out of your personal live, to do the work that people can enjoy many times over :P

im passionate about that shit :P hehe
same with game devs... if i feel a games worth it then i'd gladly pay the asking price for it :)

for example
project zomboid, rimworld and games like it are worth every penny and more

games like fallout 4.... are at best borderline due to the paid for mods that beth basically call ""DLC"" aswell as it basically being a COD mock up

If you don't know how to install manually, go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RimWorld\Mods and put your mod file in there. Don't put it in the Core folder as that's the main game "mod".

Whew, that's one long paragraph 1stReaper, I have to commend you sir. Honestly I came off a tad too aggressive after having already a shit day to come home to that, all I really ask is for people to actually be polite whenever you have an issue. As a mod author I have designed it so you're able to both get B18 and B19 on the Forums, as to not cause issues to the 40% that want to continue playing with the mod in B18.

The reason I updated this instead of starting a new page is because it would be a heavy inconvenience to those who are playing in B19 and actually want the new version, if I started a new page, to get the new version you'd have to search through the workshop to find the B19 Raiderpedes mod, which is a heavy inconvenience.

we whom actually have half a brain... understand that making mods is hard, takes time, a good % of you do it for free without asking for anything in return other then gratitude.

its fair to understand that with each update a game gets theres a % that saves could break, mods could deactivate, break or cause conflicts.... personally i dont get why people complain that an update as caused "x" to stop working or "y" to break....

ok sure.... x and y dont work... but least it means a and b could be fixed....

(its actually kinda ironic that i see chaos being toxic after i watched a video <that i cant find now> about how gamers are demanding modders update their content,, when in fact they have no obligation to do so,,, nore even work on the mod)

modders have NO obligation what so ever to make mods for us... as JD says they do it simply because they can, they want to show of their creative work and to give people the chance to improve upon already great games....


when it game is in EA or only recently adds mod support its COMMON F**KING SENSE
that thoses of us whom use the mods will simply have to wait for said mods to get correctly up to date....

some modders prefer to wait till a game gets more of a stable timeline for updates so that they wont need to update their mods ever version...

do you have ANY IDEA how much time and effort they put into making their mods and doing their best to micro-manage their personal lives, work lives, free time and time used on making mods

if the mods not up to date because the main games recently had an update and its caused your version of the mod to stop working or your save to break.....
DEAL WITH IT... if you cant deal with it simply.... dont use the mod until things become more stable....
