yeah its mostly submarine maps, barely any actual vehicles; despite the modern innovations in gmod modding

honestly sad that what i've said about submarine mods still holds up to this day, i said that in 2016, its now 2022 and the most we've got is a micro vehicle pack, some drones, and neurotec, which not to discredit the effort that went into neurotec, kinda laggy and from what i've heard over the years, buggy. which is a damn shame to be honest

honestly i kinda feel bad about all those saves people accumulated and made over the years that im about to bomb with an update so i might package in the original, an updated version of the original, and an extra surprise with a few secrets, hopefully the update won't nuke them, but it might so, eh whatever

funniest thing about the maps i've made is that apparently i was using a completely screwed up and broken version of hammer so the entity list was always completely empty, thus meaning i have forgotten the simplest friggen entity to pair with the paint skybox

why is that?
scared of the deep blue sea?
speaking of blue i realized that the painted skybox uses rgb values to control the color of the sky. i forgot to put values in so spawning the skybox editor entity changes the values. with the atmos mod i think it already changes the values

i haven't been on my laptop in a few months. the battery decided to refuse to recharge. so i am running it on the power cord which is worn out. i also have to cleanup my hard drive since i only have 2 gbs of storage left. if i move my cord it turns off. there is a loose or frayed connection in the cord. i also haven't been able to mod since school started up again and i started to go to botech. modding managed to help me get there and will eventually help in the field im learning. been busy with schoolwork and other stuff.

uummm you shouldn't be crashing
idk what could be happenning
you may have too many mods possibly
or it could be a hardware issue
cuz its not a complex map at all
it just has a lot of water
no other games are required
so i really don't know unless its somehow an addon confliction with this map or just two mods conflicting and crashing
i have no clue
probably one of your addons

if you have a black skybox just put down a sky editor in the entities tab and it should fix itself
i can't fix the black skybox myself its just a gmod bug where the color hexidecimals aren't loaded properly when loading the map.... i have no clue why this happens but thats the only fix i can come up with

in order to edit the map you have to decompile it
and then open hammer and load it up
