Finished all levels at last - some of them taking days to solve - very good

I like this levels - finished 30, but now at level "tunnels" I'm stumped - any hint?

For the "Back on Track" level. It always seemed that I had just 1 less barrel than I needed... Until I, erm, in a sense, circumvented the puzzle. Trying to phrase this in a way so as not to spoil it for others. Is what I'm describing the intended solution?

I just completed the first 6 levels, they are quite challenging but creative designs. Awesome job, I haven''t had much luck making my own levels.
