I hope the guys who made this and other mods have found good, interesting and high paying jobs. What's gone is gone.

Has the problem been fixed? I keep checking as this was a fantastic piece of work. I just wish others would update their mods as so many are failing which is a shame.

ai shift just fine now

If you force your setup to the AI, it manages to go to 4th gear, at least in the BMW, but it stays at 161 km/h. On the other hand, if you do a setup with all the gears before 160, they don't go beyond 4th anyway.
It is something without sense or reason to take it to try to solve it and I end up choosing cars from another Mod as opponents to minimally enjoy this Mod with AIs.

Cars like porsche gte still lock up back and front wheels with abs high. Maybe needs to be updated for the new rf2?

many old mods have this problem with the ai (even reiza cars), it's a software thing.

I was preparing a championship in my community and not being able to test with the AI has paralyzed everything.
I know it's a weird situation, but if anyone has a local copy or link, I'd appreciate it.

If you are looking for an alternative to S397 content which is less demanding on low end PCs and offer a different feeling than color LCD displays, this mod is still very good. Tyre wear is just right too, soft degrades fairly quickly while I could do a 80 min race on mediums with 1 stop. Had to lower difficulty by a bit compared to S397 cars. It's still worth in 2022.

Please, bring back the Ferrari F430. Make it standalone, share it in whatever method you like, it doesn't matter if the car is not updated.

This mod is truly awesome other than the yellow headlights that ruin night racing completely, so sad there isn't an option :(

I am new to rFactor 2. Maybe I do not totally understand this, but how does one make this work as a complete free single-player LeMans 24h race set similar to the F1 set for 1988 ( https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=835266682 )? A very close but not exact match to modern Lemans 24h would be fine.

Does any one have a setup for le mans with any gte? Im traying my best to make a good one but with AI at 100 my best lap is 4:09 and the AI worst one is 4:07 and best one is 4:02, and im loosing a lot in the straights, they pass me so easy!!

Yes, this Mod is fantastic from the physics, grafic, inside looking with VR is great :-) oly the motor sounds are a little loud.

the mod is amazing! the only remark is that is heavy. I do not mean the dimension, but the several lags that I experienced when playing on online servers. this while normally I do not have this kind of issue.

You have to go to the rF2 Steam game settings/beta and select the release candidate.

Unfortunately, game doesn't seem to load whenever I have this mod installed which is quite annoying, no idea why.
