Not the Chronicles one. Kabivel's is literally just the ships. So guess that answers that for me, you weren't trolling, just bad at searching the workshop.

The chronicles one yea that adds tons of stuff i don't want.. It;s fine for a few games but i don't want ever game to be eve online themed.i need just the ships.

Not sure if you're just trolling or crap at searching the workshop. The one by Kabivel that was just updated in Feb I think still works to the best of my knowledge

Yes in the Main mod I wrote that anyone can continue the mod as they wish. I posted the git repo for the mod. So anyone can take over and continue as they wish.

SoulLink I can respect that. Rather than let all your hard work die, would you be willing to let someone else update it or at least save the shipsets? Lot of work here to leave by the wayside. Either way thanks I have enjoyed playing it.

Ship models would be nice, but I can't do them and the guy who was doing them found a job. So until I find a new guy for models there will unfortunately be no new models.

And compatibility patches is not something I want/can do without Maja to add some locators etc. Otherwise it would become really hacky and a lot of work.

Love the mod brilliant work! Galaxy doesnt feel right without the Eve races now :) question regarding future plans, are you adding more variety to the ship models available... as in Hurricane, Scorpion etc. NSC has some great ship classes ^^ they would go well with the Eve ships, any thoughts on a cross compatibility thingy?

Just did a minor update and extracted most of the graphical base files into their separate mod. You will need both to play this.

However the graphical pack can be used without this and does not alter any files at all.

@SoulLink One more uncovered, Check the Amarr Dreadnought, under the nose there is a "Dronebay". It has a miniature Dreadnought sticking it's nose out XD.

@SoulLink Found another double(triple) pattern averlay in the ships models.
The avatar has one large and 2 smaller seized models in the same frame.

Hope to see your larger pack or atleast this pack updated ^^ soonish tm.

The editting the .mod file to state for version 1.3.2 has hopefully produced results on the skins. will let you know.
Just researched The Avatar and encountered the bug.
Currently researching Carriers, so will let you know if i encounter any more.

@Zeratul Vergil You can fix this by going into the .mod file for this mod and just change the version to 1.3.*. As far as I can tell the hotfix doesn't mess with anything in this mod.


@SoulLink v1.3 kinda broke the custom map types. I've found that all mods that use custom made maps (generally by using the RSGC program) won't randomize spawn locations or allow Fallen Empires to be generated. At this point it looks like RSGC is only good for creating "scenario" style maps where the player always starts in the same spot (the first spawn point in the file I believe).

Also, I bloody love this mod. I'm a huge EvE fan, but just can't handle the drama and ganking. Having my sexy Amarr navy in Stellaris is a must. I'm starting to do my own modding now and if you'd like some help I'm more than happy to lend a hand. Hit me up if you're interested.

also, when using EvE Online ships, the battleship still have the vanilla ships model when choosing extra-large weapon slot

I have to say this is the 1st time I seen EvE Online ships, hope in the future the full complete set of EvE ships is out =)

1) The difference to the main mod is that this has a lot less content and does not change any gameplay.
2) Currently no as I do not have anyone who can do models for me and can't do them myself.

@SoulLink yes I have been using the eve system map you made for this mod.
The system number is 432, seems to be the same system you started in looking at the 5th and 6th screen shot you included with an AI just to the left of you.

@IronHack Do you play on the Empire Space map? This is strange behaviour. The weights for all the spawn points are the same, so you should always spawn at a random one, but maybe the generator does not actually do random.

@Martin, no its all or nothing with this mod

@Mod maker is your mod meant to have force starting areas?
Because a friend and I have tried starting close to each other but always starting in the same spot we did the first time. Even when we pick between the Empire races that the mod has, kind of kills the point of an eve mod.

Picked Ore started in Mya
Picked Blood Raiders started in Mya
Picked SoE started in Mya

Might want to look into fixing this, I even tried changing the "starting system" on the race edit screen but still start in the same area just the systems name was changed.

Hmm well I started a game, set all factions to allow spawn (and the major races to always spawn) but I end up with mostly randomly generated(?) factions that are not eve related anyway, do I need to force them to spawn? It just seems like they are extremely unlikely to show up.. Or maybe I just need to grab that other mod you have which deletes the vanilla races?

Oh and I certainly would not mind a version of the mod that is as vanilla as possible while adding the races/factions from eve without stuff like custom ship models. Would it even be possible to make it compatible to bring one of the factions into a MP game? Not entirely sure how the whole system works for that..

ok, i have a weird bug that if you have jumpdrive or psy drive, you can not enter some of your systems you have previously visited,
Example, capital fleet that i want to return to primary system.
Example 2, Construction ships not able to travel to a surveyed system to start contructions.
also i am playing on the eve universe map and i have prescripted (original) rases spawning

And I always overwrite the pre-scripted countries. I think the list just gets too clustered with them on. And they always appear first.

Not at the moment. But I might extract the vanilla ship class models and graphics from this mod and create its own mod. Then no file will be overwritten.

hm think it only does that (overwrite) when you choose the eve online galaxy. correct me if i am wrong

Well then that mod puts all the pre-scripted empires into the paradox file. Can't do anything about that. He should change it though. I really don't want the vanilla empires showing up in the list.

Yours overwrites their starting empires, as I think you both alter the prescripted file (but that's just a guess) Thanks again for the work!
