Working Joe  [
UPDATE: New skins for Blue Cloaks. I felt like they needed their badass level cranked up to 11.

Alexander The Greek 2017
Look, Sparta rework is more historical than your other mods but not at all.
Alexander The Greek 2017
Also, unhistorical Persian and Boiotean rework.
Alexander The Greek 2017
Nice units but completly unhistorical like Corinthian rework mod. The Sparta rework is fine.
Working Joe  [
ATTN: For all of you with torsos not appearing, make sure you are subbed to the Texture Pack as well ;)
Pleaseeeeee put armour on Blue Cloaks:steamsad:
cageychunk 2017 年 1 月 14 日 上午 7:27
The mods that you make are great! Thank you for them, but i do have one question. All mods are off and the Ionian Infantry for some odd reason do not have a torso. The same could be said about the light cav. But again, I love this mod!
Dushie 2017
Hi, does this mod work ONLY on WoS? Or does it enable these units in the Grand Campaign as well? Would love this in Grand Campaign.
Beautiful work !! Thanks
A lot of the units are missing torsos and helmets, is there something I am missing?
Please do Argos, there is so much culture to that area especially from the mycenean era and the tojan war :) or maybe Crete?
maybe its just mods interfering with each other, but the helmets for the tempests and gilded hoplites aren't appearing
Some of these units don't seem to load properly. The ionian infantry and light cacalry don't have torso's!
Legend Of Rome II 2016

@Imad

They're next ;)
Makedon would be a really cool faction to do, if it would be possible
Working Joe  [
Which WoS factions do you guys want to see done next?
Working Joe  [
I do not recommend any mods that slow down battles, as they're already very slow in vanilla WoS. I do, however, recommend the Community Patch.
Ennea 2016
Heya and thanks for your mods, quick question, i intend to replay WoS with your mod collection,i wonder if battle overhauls are compatible and if you suggest any for slower/more realistic gameplay than vanilla. Thanks in advance.

Yes :D
It will give a Sparta Rework too ?
For whoever brought up the term "imperial":

"Empire" is an English word. It derives from the Latin "imperium" which just means "command," "rule", or "power."

Likewise, "emperor" is also English, but derived from Latin "imperator" meaning simply "ruler/commander/person in power."

If we wanted to be anal/pedantic about it, the proper Greek-derived English word for "imperial" (in the sense of conquering new territory) would be "Hegemonic".

(A state that rules over other states is a "hegemon"--i.e. an "empire". An "emperor" in the sense of a society having one supreme leader would be an "avtokratos", or the modern English version, "autocrat.")
dimitili seems to be technically right about "barbarians" since if I recall correctly it was the Greeks who originally coined the term "barbaros"--and used it to mean basically "people whose language and culture are foreign to us", so in that sense yes, anyone who isn't Greek is a "barbarian."

Plus did athens have a different helmet type for their marines or was it just a standard greek helmet that you would find on their hoplites and other soldiers?
Is there a way for you to make a mod where you can take the capital cities without the negitive effects and instead it just adds to your imperium or something else
Working Joe  [
NEW UNIT: CORSAIRS!

Available for all factions (except Sparta)!
i interfered cause i wanted to pass some knowledge which some of u took it as egoism...suit your selves and be mocked by those who know and care about the Hellenic world....by the way , the Athenian Tempest helmets look alike the Hellenic helmets of 1940 at ww2...be well
To question what i am , is bad for u. i am Hellene and i Will Glorify the Hellenic civilization .. back then all not Hellenes were Barbarians, and Thraks were not all Barbarians. Its Hellenes not Greeks Learn that Imperum Greacorum was given by the roman ....Hellenes were autochthonus and in their wars with others never used barbatians except in Gaugamela the Paionians..Scythians were not police as mentioned and Thraks were considered relatives as Pelasgian branch(Orfeas was Thrak Hellene... the dig in Bulagaria brings to life Hellenic temples below the "false Thrak ones" meaning that before the coming of celt tribes in the AIMOS peninsula(BAlkans) there were only Hellenes here(280 bc and back we trace Hellenic DNA all over up to DANUBE..Romans were part barbarians(cause if the Aineias story is true then Romos and Romylos were Aiolian Hellenes too)

Are you going to do a Sparta rework soon?
Working Joe  [
Yes :D
Olyrd 2016
"Cinematic Combat Animations" or/and "ATTILA Battle System" is compatible and advisor with "HCP's Wrath of Sparta Revamped" ?
Thank you in advance for your answer !
Working Joe  [
NEW UNIT: METOIKOI

Not slaves, but not citizens; not hoplites, but not levies...The free, non-citizen Metoikoi are an important source of manpower for the Athenian army, and are capable light troops.

Sparte?:)

dimitii do you make mods man? if you don't shut the hell up
✠ Heinrich von Preußen ✠ 2016
However calling some units "imperial" is kind of weird. Of course as you said Athenai had a true territorial "Empire" but the Athenians didn't see themselves as an Empire, they of course thought themselves superior and in many ways were an imperialist power (they used their military might to take control of other cities), but were more "like" the Roman Republic when it fought Carthage : an imperialist State, but still ruled by a "democracy". But that's only my point of view ;)

I'll not go further, good luck with your mod!
✠ Heinrich von Preußen ✠ 2016
Thanks :)
If I'm right the main differences between Athenai and its enemies were that they had better marines and also had a slightly better cavalry even if during the Peloponnesian War only the Thessalians were famed for their horsemanship... But I think you already did that.

What could be nice would be to differenciate the Hoplites (Picked, "normal", light) of Athenai by their "social" class rather than by their training. So for example the Thetes (Athens lower class citizens) would be the "Light Hoplites" of vanilla, the "Picked" being the Generals' bodyguards etc.
Working Joe  [
@Heinrich

Thank you for your kind words! I am a big fan of your work! If you have any ideas for "historical" units that you think would add flavor and fun, feel free to drop them, I will always credit!
