The number beside the loot actually means how much of that loot you have gotten while in your current world.
Not your total loot.

@Dot I saw that, logged out of trove and Symbols mod was gone, checked the workshop just to see that Taidrem had basically made the same mod he did, did Symbols have permission to use loot tracker too? If so then Taidrem is definitely in the wrong here.
