It shows on both, actually. Now that I reinstalled it it doesn't show client side anymore, but the server end still has errors. It doesn't seem to have any effect, it must just be my end I guess. I'll do some more fiddling.

Is it client or server where the problems occur?

Sounds good, I look forward to it! As for the fix or lack thereof, no worries. I'll try re-installing it, it might just be something on my end. It is on my private dedicated server that I'm noticing the issue, so it must be something here on my end.

not many addons would be conflicting, but its not from the addon, it would say, its just from adding it to the client i assume, i have not touched that pack as it was a temporary fix for some missing sounds others did not, but i am intending to pickup on that pack again for acf sounds and others, for builds which are not all much trains orientated but all round involved in gmod

I thought so too. Thought it might be a conflicting addon, but I think it would mention that in the error.

Odd, it has no Lua files in it I’ll have a look into it soon

It's been giving me a Lua error in console:

Most sounds work fine, but some don't play at all.
