How i perceive it is that the character sackboy is a boy, but you, yourself, as the player are called a sackthing, which is the thing that doesn't have a predetermined gender because its supposed to be a reflection of the player.

If you want, theres a port of the PS3 model. Its not rigged, but Maximo might help. I have no idea how to make bones, but Its something I guess you could tinker around with...

As a player of LBP/LBP2 for a really long time, the "Sackboy" is refered as "sack-thing" in the games sometimes. The player decides the gender of their sack-thing. It's not a boy nor a girl by default. It's sack-THING. Things can't have a gender. It's your choice. Players of the game just stuck with calling it "Sackboy", members of Media Molecule did too. I know that this probably makes no sense.
