This should be mandatory on every map until a New God is FINALLY found. Clang, like a mighty Cancer, must be appeased until then. IN fact, you should have to bring it small ships and small clusters of large blocks to feed the fire. If not maintained, Clang shall grow mad and strike out with an additional random event. There's your food, random events, economy, survival and NPC requirements all wrapped up in one.
