this is sorta different to the hl2 one. the jumping is a bit clunkier, and u need to pleasure ur scrollwheel differently but it works

So uh... I KNOW this isn't a skill issue because I tried it in HL2 and it worked fine, but I can't seem to get backhopping to work with this addon installed.

ABH and ASH seemed to work completely fine, i actually learned how to do them with this mod 30 minutes ago so smells like a skill issue from other commenters.

All of those people who say that it dosen't work just have a skill issue. It works perfectly also you can't do it forward because it's called "backhopping" duh

I have an auto-bhopping addon but I still can't accelerate because my speed keeps getting reset when I hit the ground. What am I doing wrong?

my apologies, its working for me now. i think it must've conflicted with another addon i had installed and stopped working because of it. the new patch notes mentioning that the update may have broken some addons led me to believe yours was affected

so I had to test again because I had sv_airaccelerate turned way up - it turns out AFH is still working fine for me. Don't know what to tell people. ABH and AFH are working for me.

@daniel balls - Not easily possible as far as I know, the behaviour for prop grabbing is defined in the engine dlls. You'd have to remake the grabbing system from scratch in Lua.

could you make a mod to let you grab props underneath you for propflying?
i have old engine physics .dlls and they work

maybe it's just me, timing jumps is harder in gmod than hl2

if your fps is lower the scroll wheel jumps become more consistent, 200-300 feels like it misses your inputs often

so for some reason it only works consistently in multiplayer servers for me? like it does work but using the scrollwheel only hits the jump every time if the server isnt singleplayer
