This mod adds just the right amount of unit types for the empire. Im tired of seeing mods who add unnecessary units that clutter up my unit rosters. I was looking for a lore-friendly unit mod, and here it is.

Knights griffon are not red armor, that'd be knights encarmine. They might be spelled wrongly because I borrowed units from another mod.

Also white wolve's don't have red horses either, don't really know where you're getting that. And if you're thinking of posting some outdated pic of them, i'll remind you that GW themselves consistently change the way things look so it's not that relevant

Why are the Knights Griffon a) spelled wrongly and b) in green and not deep red barding and silver armour? If this is Lorehammer, shouldn't you get the name and colour right? Why are the White Wolves' horses in silver barding and not red?

Unfortunately, guys, the mod tools we have are imperfect and its not always feasible to do everything the way that would make sense to you guys, the users.

regiments of renown mod has carroburg greatswords that are not finished, and are greyed out in campaign, thats Jdharrow's primary project, and then there are is the unit from this mod which does work, although it has some funky graphical issues sometimes.

Modding is a nightmare when the game is coming out. A couple of times Jdharrow and I made lords from scratch that were later released as dlc. That was 30+ hours of work for each one wasted.

@Tanit cant speak for Ema but its a ton of work involved , for a start CA have released very few models for the game so asking for stuff that has no models already is next to undoable and keeping tabs on conpatability with other mods is a nightmare......

How much work is involved in incorporating other modders' units with your own pack? I only ask because I am using a number of other unit mods to lore-fully fill out the rosters, but most of them are a little weak now with the rebalanced stats of Lorehammer. ( Which, by the way, I am enjoying a great deal, thank you so much for the hard work!)

As an example, here are some of the unit packs I am using: Aquirre's Brettonian and Custom Unit packs, Elite Units of Marienburg by Manu, Mixu's Middenland, Spirit Hosts and Southern Hordes by Sleepy

PS. Small unit requests. For the Vampire Counts, I miss Bat Swarms from the Table Top game, would it be possible to shrink a Fellbat model, make a huge unit size and make them really weak? For the Goblins their artillery is only missing the Goblin Spear Chukka, a bolt thrower by any other name. And for the Empire I am surprised no one has made Halfling archers or spearmen or the elusive Halfling Hot Pot.

ive tried your suggestion but it crashes, there is also a discussion on cahos divided mod about this, and the compatibility problem seems to be in lorehammer part 1.

Well it will crash because the contents of this mod are basically exactly the same as chaos divided (that doesnt work).

you would have to disable this mod (just LH part 5) to use chaos divided, but again, that would leave it unbalanced.

The "extended units" is not a compatibility patch for chaos divided. Its just offerering a select few of the units. Some people have told me that Chaos divided is not compatible with LH.

Siscu's entire mod (minus the weird graphical changes like changing empire knights to use the peasant bowmen head) is in here already. I only included the parts of chaos divided that I wanted to see in LH.

carzyivan, well i did but couldnt find if there is compatibility between the original unit mods and lorehammer, without the slower battles (ive seen this about the units so sry for that) , it should but then again chaos divided itsel requires a fix for extended units wich this overhaul already has.

hi, does the original unit mods are compatible? fisco seem it only adds units but chaos divided also requires another mod for the unit extended sizes.

Checked it up, works perfectly, sorry ofr the false alarm.
Just saw one thing with the bretonnian buildings, their special one for cav where you have pastures gives xp to imperial units and not bretonnian ones. Other than that, works perfectly. Tried Chaos, the new units are a great addition, giving new specific and specialised roles to the abse units.

I'll have to check myself, but a friend just told me the carroburg greatswords are worse than the greatswords atm. I'll try to go check to see xhat causes that (base stats, tech not applied...)

the ones that do, do so on purpose. the ones that done, also do so on purpose.

I may have made a few mistakes but mostly the chaos warriors benefit from chaos warrior tech, same for beastmen.

The new units come from non-generic building chains for the most part. For example knights of the white wolf and teutogen guard are only available for recruitment from the Middenheim special Ulric building. You can only build in it middenheim.

Knights griffin come from the tier 5 sigmar worship chain. Carroburg greatswords come from altdorf tier 4 and 5. Knights panther come from the Knights Panther chapterhouse in Carroburg.

Hi here i didnt see any of the new empire units added in the building chain none of them appear in game for ive got only the vaniila recruitment units and ive installed all the lorehammer mods weirds?

Also, these units are heavily edited from their original author's work. They only resemble them in terms of textures and visuals, now.
