The Commander's Avatar doesn't get the additional skills with the default set-up, to add LoS Preview, Beatdown and the rest edit this mod's XComMoreDefaults.ini, add this to the end of the [MoreDefaultSoldierAbilities.X2DownloadableContentInfo_MoreDefaultSoldierAbilities] section:
.SoldierTemplates=AdvPsiWitchM2

In my current game I've got a SPARK unit and it's showing doubled icons for -bg-'s "LOS Preview" abilities (in a similar way to everyone a few months ago). I do have "Metal Over Flesh" loaded but I don't think that changes the template name for SPARKs. I don't have -bg-'s "LW MECs as SPARKs" running, which I guess would.

Been noticing doubling of ability icons for Evac All. I see that it had an update a couple of months ago:
Update: 11 Feb @ 4:13am
* Add better support for LW2 and other mods. EvacAll ability will now be added to any character with the Evac ability instead of a fixed list of supported types.

* Removed old legacy implementation (pre Alien Hunters).


So I think that change may need to be recognised in some changes to this mod. At some point when you fancy, of course.

is there anyway you could add the option to chose with ones you wanna play whit ?
( for exampel i wanna use everyone exept "steady wepond " and "los preview", but i would like to still only use ONE mod for all of it)
just a thought tho !

No. Just your troopers. Giving the enemies an extra ability wiould mean having to edit their AI so they will actually use that new ability.

Myabe an odd question, but does your own "Steady Weapon For All: LW2 Edition" add the ability to the character template and so doesn't need to be supported here?

Any note of what was in the Jan 23rd patch? I noticed a new download, but don't see a changelog anywhere.

ClassData is a bit different: the .ini has a way to tell perks what weapon they should be looking for, so they know to affect the primary weapon.

For character template perks, it just assumes it's looking for something integral to the unit and not an item, so it's non-functioning. I know this because I ran into the issue when I was figuring out how to give SPARKs suppression by default that wasn't instantly unlocked through their class.

You want to add Suppression to the weapons themselves: adding it to the units will result in a non-functioning perk.

Though I believe there's already a mod that does that, can't remember the name of it though.

Yep, can confirm that the LOS Preview abilities are only added once. Haven't had a situation this mod is designed for (Avenger Defence, reinforcement mission etc.). But the doubled ability icons are no more.

Hey done some testing.

All of the following applies with just these mods loaded:
Steady Weapon
Beatdown Skill
Surrender
Evac All
LOS Preview Ability
Overwatch All/Others
More Default Soldier Abilities

Loaded up an existing game (a no mods, testing one) and got to the start of a guerilla operation:
All four soldiers had two instances of the LOS Preview action icons (movement and LoS)

Started a new game. Gatecrasher:
All four soldiers had two instances of the LOS Preview action icons (movement and LoS)
Got them all killed (which went against the grain) and used Restart Mission:
All four soldiers had two instances of the LOS Preview action icons (movement and LoS)

I'm not using LW Toolbox, I'll check out the LoS Preview thing in more detail next time I start the game up.

[Edit: Added that as a request on the Steady Weapon page, think a response is unlikely though as the last time the author posted there was in March. We'll see]

Steady Weapon's issue, sorta, it would involve me having to modify the ability with a new condition since Steady Weapon does its weapon check with the screen listener.

As for LOS Preview, can you detail a bit more? Like is this duplicated with all soldiers, only certain ones, etc? (And if it's only certain ones, are you using the toolbox?)

I'm not using LW Perk Pack

I've set UsingSteady = true

With this mod running I notice two issues:

1 - Duplicated ability icons for Preview Movement and Preview LoS from LOS Preview

2 - The Steady Weapon ability is being added to shotguns and cannons. Even though I've got these values set in XComGameData_SteadyWeapon.ini:
STEADY_WEAPON_DISABLED_ARRAY[0]=cannon
STEADY_WEAPON_DISABLED_ARRAY[1]=shotgun

This mod is adding steady weapon to all my regular soldiers. I have the LW Perk Pack installed (which has steady weapon as a perk), but not the standalone steady weapon mod. Is there any way to disable this?

@Drake It'll add in the other abilities if they exist in the game (so if you don't have steady weapon installed it won't be able to add it, but if you have Ready Up installed that mod's abilities.)

At a guess, no. The only bug I know of with Evac All is the Neutralise Hostile VIP mission one, and there're a couple of fixes detailed on the Evac All page. I don't use ABA though, not a fan of the Skittles ADVENT aesthetic, perhaps you could expand on what the issue is?

What I wish for is an extended version of "customize all abilities" an useful mod that never got completed. What It lacks is Fire ammo cost, the clip cost for using the ability "fire" on all different types of weapons so you can remake the clipsize on weapons to bullets.
