@Loenneberger in my opinion one of the best maps in the workshop. after a long search, I started building my city on this map a few years ago. It's definitely more than 4 or 5 years now. now I would like to export this map to CS2. I'm searching the forums for a way to do it. I would like to start building an exact copy of my city from CS1. but it's very complicated to make an exact copy of this map in the editor. The best thing is to contact the author. that's why I'm writing to you. please, could you help me with this? did you make this map manually in the editor, or is it a real cutout from the real world? if so, can you please provide me with the coordinates? maybe there are mods who could replicate it based on this information. or could you create and upload this same identical map in CS2. thanks mate for your work anyway. i love this map definitelly and i want it in cs 2 anyway.

Really like this map.I would play it a lot except for one thing. The rail down the middle of the highway. Maybe it is a European thing. Here in the USA I can't think of any prototype for it. I like to play with what the creator gives me for the most part and the rail position makes it very difficult to use it without major reconstruction of the highway/rail line.

Which intersections did you use? Can you share them please? :)

Hi~ My tunnel entrance shows the ground directly, but not the road that stretches downward. Is there any problem with this map after the game update? In other maps, tunnels appear normally.

This map is AMAZING! It is now my favorite of all.

@aaelliotta mmmh? I‘m very sorry that i can‘t help u atm. I gave my rig to a local club at the beginning of corona to create some nice live streams with djs to survive during this times. My rig is now there for more than a year. And thats okay for me, but that means, that i cant really check the map, with my potato-Laptop that i‘m using now at home…
Maybe u can describe more detailed what the problem is?

this map is a work of art. imo essential map mod.

did anybody find a work around for the difficulties with th theme that the game can´t find before loading? I can start the map but then it crashes as soon as I wanna do something.

When I try to open this map it says that I don't have the right map theme installed, and that it will use a default map theme instead, even though I do have Realistic V 1.2.13 Boreal. When I try to load it it just crashes.

Hi Mulkaccino. Long time, since i created this map, so i don’t remember exactly. I think it took something around 50 hours, because i placed everything by hand.

I have an error playing this map, it doesn't show me the temperature. It isn't something that prevents playing, but I'd like it to be shown.

Love the map, beautiful, and really easy to build on. Also, I love when map-makers put in multiple different spots with exit and on ramps on the highway. It's really very useful to have a few to start with. My one complaint: I'm not sure what you meant when you said there was an area "optimized" for building a dam "in the area around the starting tile". After examining the map for about 20 minutes I only found one such spot, located almost directly on the border between the 2nd and 3rd tile (you would need to buy the 3rd tile as well to make the dam) directly to the west of the starting tile. It's the only spot that fits your description of "a valley" and be dammed without flooding and be able to produce power. The spot itself works well for a low-height dam, I'm more bothered by the distance, as I was expecting something closer after reading the description. After buying the third tile you're only one tile away from the edge of the map, not what'd consider around the starting tile.

Great map, i just got 330k population, but still got some romm for another 100 :D
PS that shipping lanes in middle of bay connecting two stream SUCKS i've got like 50 container ships in in traffic jam!

Heya Loennberger , its an amazing map and I would like to do another version of this map with a theme , the idea is to have the same landscape but with other intersections and road and rail ,so Im asking for permission to use the heightmap from this map to make another version if thats ok with you. I will of course add you as a contributor to the map....

Amazing map, been having a great time building on it, but I wonder, you say there is a great place to build a dam, but where? I put one at the very top of the map, where the twisty rapids are off the edge of the tiles, but it won't fill up =( Just wondering what the key place seems to be in your opinion, I'm a noob with dams.
Still, thanks for making this sweet map! I love the interchanges, very smooth and realistic!

no, i found the problem, i had the vehicle mod where you can tell which ones to spawn, and i had a lot of vehicle assets to replace the vanailla vehicles, and then i deleted them all to start fresh, but forgot to enable the vanailla vehicles for the new map XD so problem solved

There are a lot of things, which could cause this bug...
1. When you start the map, and don't build anything, is there "dummy traffic" on the highways? If there is, the map doesn't cause the problem...
2. Try another map... same problem?

Could anyone help me out? No one is moving into my city, and all my roads are turned the right way and everything, like, i dont know what to do?!

I was thinkin' what to do and I found solution, but I donno what caused that problem. I've just unsubscribed all mods and assets. Game is clear only with some map themes (custom ones) with Your map. It works fine now, and perhaps mod caused that problem. I did not find which one, but I'll subscribe my choosen mods and than I'll try to run game until I meet that problem. BTW - thank You for interest and answer.

You are not the only one with this problem, as you see in the comments below. I really don't understand that bug (if i would, i would have fixed it long ago...)

I created that map without any mods, only with a vanilla game and the map-theme, to make shure, that everything works fine.

But now i've got that bug, too. And i think it has something to do with the last DLC (Concerts)...
I can't really fix it, but there is a way i can go on playing:
Before i load my savegame, i open the "Content Manager" and then mask for "Map theme". You only have to open it. Then i go back to the Main Menu and load my save, and everything works...

It's strange and i really don't know what to do :(

This is a really awesome map, my only pain point is that the street lights on the highways clip through, very noticeable in night time. If it wasn't for that, I'd rate this a 5.

I cant see different surfaces. Only grass.
I have all neccessary stuff subscribed and it still gives error that custom map or theme is missing. What should I do? It was workin' properly about week ago.

Used to work on my computer and now it won't.

I found your great map because on youtube; Biffa uses your map to create a beautiful city.

Since the patch to 1.6 (Natural Desasters) you maybe get an error-message, if you don't have that maptheme installed.

I disabled everyting but the theme. But even without it the map doesnt start after the error... I have the mass update installed...
