it might be possible to rotate some of them but it won't always work the way you'd want
no problem, sadly source engine is old and clunky
I'm having issues with the scaling and rotation of the effects. Most if not all solutions if identified across the internet don't result in any visible change, and in fact any changing of the particle properties of some effects (haven't tested all of them) in the particle editor results in no visible changes. This may be intentional as I do understand they are quite, if not, immensely complicated, for lack of a better word, 'systems' and it might be to difficult to rotate and scale them. But I hope you do have a solution, because I'm petty and i'd obviously wish for my issues to be solved before anyone else's.
